Thanks man I'll be back on later tonight. I was planning on going to see Fast & Furious 5 but I might not be because of the damage. 1 of the fatalities had just stopped in to see her sister and to let her know she had finished her chemo therapy when the storm hit and took her life.

I just hope they get better at detecting tornados and developing a better warning system than what they have now. The moment they said on the tv if you live in glade take shelter immediately is when it hit. Glade didn't have any warning at all.

Ya i talked to my father at like nine when it was horrible down home and he was scared shitless. He just had made it back from Damascus picking up my grandmother when it hit.

I just got back from bristol. I saw Fast 5 and it was pretty good, but it did little at easing my mind. On the way home when I got to exit 29 where glade is, instead of huge amounts of light from all of those gas stations and Petro truck stop all you se is the awning that's lit up for emergency vehicles to fuel, and alot of cop cars lit up. On the way down there we had a hard time getting through there due to people's curiosity. We didn't have any problem on the way back because there was little or no traffic on interstate. The only reason I started this thread was to let people know the power of these storms and what should be done to help people get to safety.

Yeah the end of it was pure b.s., but it was good though. What was even better was the ricer wannab's got up and left because there was no "technical jargon" mentioned. That was kool and worth the price of admission by itself. What made it even sweeter was there were quite a few ASE Master Techs in there laughing at the ricers.

Is it me or is "classic american muscle cars" making a come back all of a sudden? That's what's hot right now. "old school" looks with modern technology underneath. So far the one's that seems to capture that better than any manufacturer out there right now is indeed Chrysler. The new Challenger is a dead on match. I don't like the new Charger, or Mustang and I hate the new Camaro. The last salesman to try and tell me that it looks like a 1969, I asked if he was blind and showed a photo of a 69 Camaro. He shut up real quick and left me alone after that.

Well I'm off to bed for the night, so I'll see you guys later. Hopefully no one will have to go through these damn storms that wreak havoc. I hope I never see anything like this again and for damn sure anything like Hurricane Andrew ever. That storm was far worse than those photos I posted. And for those whom don't know how bad it was, Google it and see for yourselves. Category Level: 5 (catastrophic), speed 175 mph, windgusts: over 200 mph. Those were Hurricane Andrew's stats when it made landfall. The only other storm that out did Andrew was Camille.
