Good thing I live between the 2, because smyth co. cops don't bother anyone or at least they don't bother me after Judge Tate's warning to them:

If i worked for ford, i wouldn't re-design the ranger, it's good as it is, any change will mean a higher sticker price. So the world ranger would be a no-no, keep the prices low, do not charge 50k for a compact truck.

BUT

What i'd do is take some heads out of some asses and allow options to be added to the damned truck. Why in the hell can't we get the multimedia head unit? WHY. Why aren't there off-road parts offered for the ranger? Every retarded import has them, why not make them for a truck that can actually handle off-roading.

And then, i'd make a ranger raptor, just to piss off everyone who likes to compare their mid-size pickups to ours.

Oh yeah, i'd ditch most of the american engines, and bring some of the 45+mpg PETROL (cause.. fuck diesel) engines ford offers in the UK.

That right there would be enough alone to revamp the ole ranger. Offer a small 4 banger diesel and other engine choices. I would redesign the interior though. I've been looking at the same dash practically for the last 18 years.

I find after market tacs look too !997 Honda Civic Ricer for my liking. On another note. Saw a toyota Echo with what appeared to be a 3" Exhaust pipe, lol. Wish I had my camera

Psh, i find it too small, they need to make a man's version of that tach.

Something that'll burn your retinas if you don't make a quick shift.

And blind the hell out of the people driving behind you, causing massive pileups.

Hell, make is gas powered.

at the price of gas? no thanks on the gas powered . Ranger Fuel Econo 20 MPG, Tac Econo, 40 MPG . depending on shift points ...., I would like a Red line on a Tac, ford seems to think that they save a quick penny without them.

That's one thing i fail to understand.

I've asked 3 dealerships, no one can tell me where the redline should start. When i said if it was ok to be in the high revs, they said as long as i don't go in the red i should be ok.. hint hint

Yeah, that made no sense to me.

Design 101, if your going to put a tac, put a redline, its like the 1980s, Automakers would only put an 85 MPH (140 KMH) speedo even in corvettes that could double that speed, go figure. They say it was to prevent speeding, I bullsh*t.
