That's a killer idea right there. The U.S. and France actually flew the P47 Thunderbolt airplanes during WWII. Whipple or Kenne Belle superchargers would be a better choice though.

Hellion twin turbo kit, forged internals, three boost settings with the highest producing 45 lbs. Talk about a fun truck

lol $27k CND starting price, the way I see it, a sport 4wd base ( no other options) starts at $24K here so I think the $27K for a sport tuned truck is pretty reasonable and still leave a profit margin for ford. . I' ll order a king cab one if this ever comes reality

Hellion Power systems are distributors of Turbonetics Turbos and they have a turbocharger that kicks ass. It's called the TNX-122 mm midframe turbo that produces up to 3,500 horses with a single turbo. It also has a boost level of 150 psi (that's too much boost though). But who said anything about just using one.

I prefer Superchargers over turbo in trucks, more direct torque and no lag FTW.

I'm a huge fan of overkill. Can you imagine 4 of those turbos on a big block? Holy christ that would be insane. I think it would be a bit too dangerous to.

They're ok but they take away from the engine a bit to produce power. The turbocharger works off of what your engine produces. If you set the boost just right and have a good set up, you won't see any turbo lag. Plus I love the jet like sound of a turbo.

Actually you do know that Ford bought out Mazda right? It should work pretty easily. The Mazda Speed engines would be great.
