Re: Mid-Size SUV For Wife???
my mom's had a '99 isuzu trooper for about 8 years now and it's been a damn reliable SUV, got about 250,000 miles on it right now and never been rebuilt, hell other than basic maintence stuff ( tires, brakes, shocks, ect) it's never needed major repair. her's is pretty bare bones, it's got some honda 3.5 (?) DOHC v6 backed by a 5 speed stick, torsion bar front suspension and a 4 link setup in the back. only other options were power windows & locks.
lately it's been using oil and is no doubt in need of a rebuild, and the rear coil springs need replaced, but if you can find one they are usually very well optioned ( leather, power everything & such) and my mom loves her's.
