damn those are some statistics! lol but i agree, if a woman is a bitch to me then i make sure she knows i have no respect for her, i dont degrade her or call her names, but i also dont give her any respect or attention.

it sucks being led on in a relationship thinking she is one thing then she becomes another thing, but thats the way life goes sometimes.

us good guys are usually the hopeless romantics, i like it tho, i get hurt more than i hurt someone else, it sucks sometimes but i can sleep well at night because of it

If she acts like a whore, dont degrade her, but the next fool that comes along can treat her like a princess, not me, not you. Most of yall have been burned enough to have learned this already.

If a woman acts like a whore, then she is a whore, Im not saying you shouldnt be respectful, but you shouldnt open your heart to her exopecting her to change into a lady. Just like these girls now adays shouldnt think a douchebag is going to change into prince charming.

Girls that leave the good guy for the bad guy are just that, girls. They arent women. They still need that mysterious danger factor. Real women have smartened up and can still have a good time without going out with a woman beating criminal.

There are about 6,913,491,918 people in this world, about 311,204,225 in the US.

Out of the 311,204,225 people in the US, we will say half of them are female (I think its actually a little more than half)

So half of 311,204,225 is 155,602,112...So thats 155,602,112 females in the US. We will say 1/4th of those are not whorish. That means 38,900,528 women in the US are good girls....Dont assume every piece of tail you see is a good girl, take some time to get to know her and dont give her your heart on a plate.

Being a good guy means being nice and respectful. It doesnt mean you should let yourself be hurt by every whore that wants to use you and leave you. Use your common sense and dont let your heart blindly lead you into a bad situation.

Some very wise words!

I do hate it when a girl says, "I do want a nice guy." What she MEANS is, "I do want a nice guy....to walk all over."

im one of those "good guys". but im not just a good guy to women, i respect all people. ya, i can be a smartass some of the time... ok, a lot of the time. lol. no, im not lonely, but im also not tied up with a girl. ive basically lost interest in them, i dont mean im going gay lol, but i mean its just not really worth my time right now. i am and always be a gear head and right now, im interested in making money and turning wrenches. now i will still take a piece of nice ass when i can get it. but i think of it this way, i am still in high school, graduating in may, i got a job that i get paid 14/hr at that i start right after i graduate (literally, i start the day after lol). im going to be making BANK. got few bills i pay, and i want toys.... lots of toys.... lol. so i figure, why spend my hard earned money on a women that i probably wont wind up in a relationship with and she wont be "the one". when i can spend my hard earned money on a motorcycle, my truck, quads, and that kind of stupid fun shit. i figure, buy all my toys now and have fun for a couple years living at home for free, then start to buy a house, settle down and what not.

Something else to mention. Sometimes as a "good guy" we can be our own worst enemies. We who have been hurt many times, go into a relationship thinking, "I just know this is not going to work out, it is going to be her cheating on me, or dumping me, she would never like me, etc, etc.

I have a friend who is a skydiving instructor, and he has told me that he can be parachuting into a field with a group of students, and the field can be wide open, except for ONE SMALL TREE at one end of the field. He can tell his students, "Hey, be careful of that small tree at the north end of the field. Just don't land in it." And the entire time in the aircraft, going out the door, in freefall, and in descent, they will be thinking, "Just don't land in the tree." And what happens? They land in it.

lol. i dont really have that. i just have the thought "hey, if she sticks around, she sticks around. if not, oh well. im back to being single and who the hell gives a flying fuck." i dont usually get the "oh god, she doesnt like me" thought. i think sometimes "listen, imma do me, your gonna do you.... then in a few, im going to do you" lmao

as a ski instructor i can totally relate to it, its a huge mental thing we need to overcome. when teaching people how to ski, you have to train them to look at where they want to go, not where they dont want to be. if you look at the tree your body will aim for the tree. if you look between the trees, and make a plan you will go between or around the trees. that stuff directly correlates to this topic.

EXACTLY like that. I have heard that "look where you want to go" while on a motorcycle.

I'm not saying I'm a good or a bad guy. I think depending on the time of life I was serving me, but I have always been respectful of a woman. I do see it all the time though, the "good guys" getting screwed by the guy that is a total douchacleese and he gets the girl. I don't know what women want, nor am I thinking I will ever figure it all out. I just know, if it's going to happen, its going to happen. I happen to have a wonderful girl now, and we never thought it would ever end up this way. Bide your time, and all good things will fall in place.

I could have been described like this a couple years ago I guess. I didn't have the time and wasn't interested in having a serious relationship, could say I was being selfish maybe. I had quite a few month or two long flings which were with 'bad' guys, and I'm not going to lie, it was a blast. If we didn't hear from each other for a week it wasn't a big deal. No one to check in with, could take off on a random roadtrip whenever, basically could do whatever whenever. But I was honest with these guys from the start, they knew I wasn't in it for the long haul. And I didn't go for the 'good' guys at the time because I knew they would want something more eventually, and I wasn't ready to give it. I think that's where a lot of girls go wrong and mess up you good guys. They know its not going anywhere, but they keep playing the game to get what they want. For the record - I paid my own way and didn't use any of these guys. Things ended on good terms and I still talk to many of them.

But hang in there, us girls do come around eventually. Personally, I was working on getting my shit together before settling down. I was working my ass off all through my 'bad' guy stage - working long hours and out of town isn't great for a serious relationship. I have an amazing career now, which I love, bought my own house, truck, and have a few toys. And I'm now with a 'good' guy, who also has his shit together and I wouldn't have even considered him a few years ago.

Basically guys, do your own thing and everything will fall into place when you're ready and the girl is ready. Can't force things.

Some girls are just bitches though, no changing that.

yeah im a good guy and i agree. My thing is i dont appear to be a nice guy lol. Idk i can really be a dick but to a girl i have feelings for i do every possible thing to be sure im making her happy. I will go extremely out of my way for anyone if i feel like i want them to like me. Im also extremely shy. I have this CRAZY social anxiety, i dont even like going in to stores. So im beat. I'll probably be single and poor forever but if thats how im meant to live then so be it. Ill just find some one to have my kid and let her do whatever she wants and raise my son by myself. Cause thats all i really want out of life is to try and raise a son. I wanna be rich and have a hot girlfriend/wife and the son that i can spoil but id be happy at just having a son.
