Re: Considering selling the Ranger..
just depends on what you want, like why are you selling it and what has gotten stale to you about the truck? do you want to go fast, off road more or get great mileage?

It's been giving me some problems lately, gas mileage isn't to great, and I'm honestly kind of bored of it. I want better gas mileage, and would like to go kind of fast.

Re: Considering selling the Ranger..
well kinda fast and mileage your gonna want an import, a v8 isnt going to do all that much better on gas if your romping on the throttle all the time. get 4 cylinder or a v6 of some sort. it will also help with insurance rates. or hell drop a 5.0 in the ranger then you can go fast and solve problems!

Re: Considering selling the Ranger..
keep the ranger and get an 80's / '90s thunderbird. RWD and they were avalable with a V8, although i would want one with the supercharged V6 (3.8 i think?). the older ones had turbo'd 4 bangers if im not mistaken. nice semi-big car, comfy as hell, fast, practicle, and differant. everyone's got a mustang, personally i'd love to have a T bird.

Sell your ranger, don't make new threads about having sold it.

He said he was having trouble with the ranger, why would he trade it in for a PoS he is going to have more trouble with?

Re: Considering selling the Ranger..
well for your situation, maybe a 2011 v6 mustang would fit, over 300 hp and over 30 mpg. If you do just dont get it with a manual, or you'll have to replace the trans every 3000 miles lol

ditto^^^ seriously dude. my dads Trans am gets 29 mpg's and run's a 12.49 at 114 mph. its fast as hell, and gets great mileage. its fun to drive, and its loud.... lol. ls1's are awesome with power and reliable. we have had very FEW problems that weren't our fault. but the one major problem was, my dad blew out 2nd gear in it (they are weak in 98's). we tore the tranny down and it now has Viper 1st and 2nd gears. they havnt broke yet and there is 20,000 miles on it, and about 15 passes on it.

dude, the t/a's are reliable. they aren't junk by any means and they will walk all over a mustang, bone stock.
