Most insurance companies raise the rates a metric shit-ton after the 400-450cc mark. That's where a light weight Enduro with sportbike tires comes in. Still as fast 1st through 4th gear as most rockets, and handle just as well (and fast) through the curves.. Plus they're cheaper to operate, maintain, and insure.. Plus they'll take a beating (aka wheelies for life, stoppies, crashes, etc) better and for much longer without damage or much maintanence...

I had to add bar risers to mine to straighten out a little more, and I'm still tall enough that a 100-150 mile ride gets me all bent outta shape.. I'm 6ft tall and old though. A rocket will sure make longer trips more comfortable on every part of you but your wrists.

Got it from my brother's roommate who bought it new in 2004. I bought it after he wrecked it for $2000 and then threw new plastics on it.

High sided on a sweeping left corner. Scattered plastic over a 400' area around the corner. Fun ride tho

Nah, it was a 1989 cbr600f1 (hurricane). High sided at about 75 two years ago. Scared the sh-t out of my gf behind me. Walked away fairly unharmed. Lacerated my spleen on the clipons and had about 40% of the skin abraided away on my upper left arm. Sorry to gross anyone out. But such are the consequences of showing off on unfamiliar grounds
