Default Vertigo?

So I drank heavily on sunday evening till around 5 am or so. During the night I fell backwards and slighly hit my head on the back. No bleeding etc. I spent most of the time in the shower puking. Had a hard time sleeping due to the room spinning. I blamed the alcohol but its already wednesday and the symptom hasnt seceded. I also have alot of thirst. Gets worst when tossing and turning in bed. If it doesnt get better by tomorrow, ill go see a dr. Anyone with similar experience? Its annoying

Its just from alcohol in your system. I have a nights where I went out with co workers and I felt like that for a week. It was a mix of getting older and just too much alcohol for your body. Go to the doc anyway to get your head looked at though. Better safe than sorry

I may add that I also drinked heavily on saturday till sunday morning then again till monday morning. Not an alcoholic btw, just an extreme case. Just hoping the symptoms can last over 48 hours. I cant sit up or get up too quickly without losing my balance. But hey I can still type on a phone

Defiantly go get it checked out. Drink plenty of water just in case that it is just the alcohol. If it is an extended hangover it pretty much means that u are really dehydrated.

yeah could be alcohol, or just even something simple like an ear infection.

Ah yes, good times. Drink a lot of water, gatorade g2 (for the electrolytes), and take some gravol to help with the room spinning.

when I was home on leave, from the Navy, just before I was to report to my ship, the entire week I was dizzy as hell (I could walk, but had to stop and get my bearings)
anyway, after my 3 hour flight, I walked off the plane, went to the ship and just as I was about to board, I noticed the dizziness was gone.
I don't know what caused it and it never happened again.

If you feel thirsty, you've probably been dehydrated for the last three days which is why you're still fucked up. Start pounding water.

It could be from the alcohol in your system, but definitely get it checked out with a doctor just to be sure.

The little knock on your head might have been enough to knock the rocks off in your ears. Yes we all have rocks in our heads. There are little rocks in our ears that help with equilibrium, and if they are out of place you will be dizzy.

Go to the doctor and if it is not alcohol related, ask him for a prescription for physical therapy. Find a PT who is Certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation. They are trained in balance and vestibular therapy, more then the normal PTs.
