Default The true reason about fuel prices...

After watching NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and seeing the segment he did concerning oil prices, I decided to look around the web a bit and I made a discovery. The real reason fuel oil is so high is because of our currency losing it's value and no one is talking about it. I hit a few forbidden website messages before I found the truth in the Oil Companies, PUBLIC EARNING STATEMENTS. The entire oil market is set in U.S. Dollars, and yes even overseas they're listed in u.s. currency too. Basicly with the U.S. Dollar in a huge decline, the statement of "sound as the dollar" is gone. And it's all caused by the U.S. Treasurey printing more and more money each day, and IT'S NOT BACKED BY ANYTHING. Basicly over the last couple of years the euro is worth nearly double of the the u.s. dollar is worth. it takes $215.00 bucks to equal 125.00 euros. If you don't believe me, go online and FOLLOW THE MONEY.

HA! I was saying something about this in a thread I posted. It had a video with a guy talking about currency, how its the worlds reserve. And that WHEN it is worthless, some other form of currency will take the role of "world reserve" Same thing happened to the brits. many many years ago. There was a secret meeting between China, Japan, some countries in europe and a few others, it is speculated they were conversing about a new currency.... The USA was not invited......

----------

Infact, currency exhanges are starting to no longer exchange us currency to other forms, its worthless!

----------

Please ignore the sales pitch, focus on what the guy is talking about.

Well that was one apsect of it. As I dug deeper these fuel saving cars like the new electric vehicles, and hybrids have also effected the gasoline price hike too. Ford, Nissian, and others have contributed to the price hike and the sad part is they didn't realize what they were doing. Toyota done the most damage with the Prius. At one point, there was an 8 year waiting list for a new Prius (that changed with the throttle sticking problem). By mass producing fuel saving vehicles, and becoming more efficient with technology, people raised the prices even more because they didn't buy gasoline on a frequent basis as they use to. When or if the price tag drops on the new Chevy Volt occurs, watch gasoline go even higher. The national average by next week is predicted to be $4.00 bucks a gallon. I about had a stroke when I seen California's price tag. $4.33 a gallon.

The U.S. Dollar has been losing value since 1971. Richard M. Nixon was the cause of the "Gold Standard" being closed. When Woodrow Wilson created the Federal Reserve bank in the early 1900's to combat counterfit money, the U.S. Dollar emerged as the only currency in the U.S. It was backed by a precious metal known as gold. Other countries bought into it. In 1971 the U.S Mint and Treasurey kept printing money when we didn't have enough gold to back what was being printed. France called our bluff, and started cashing out and nearly depleted our gold reserves. Nixon said at that point "I'm closing the gold standard." That's when the u.s. dollar started losing money year after year. Each year it gets worse. It's the same thing with the Mexican and Argentenia Peso. It's the same thing with the british pound. The only english/british money that's worth anything is the gold sovereign and those aint being circulated either.

rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. maybe if gas was cheaper it would help the economy by having people spend their money other than the gas pump. i fucking hate politicians. dont do shit about the problem. they dont have the problems our class has so they dont worry about us. they do whats best for them not us. the top 1% of wealthy here in the country have over 90% of the nations wealth. that top 1% also has more in common with people in other countries then they do with regular class u.s. citizens. makes me sick and to many people are to scared to stand up for whats right and fight back against the government. all afraid of consequences. its freedom of speech right? arent we entitled to that? that cant shut you down for protesting against them.

okay im getting off my soap box.

That's ok man, say what you want to say. I hate the federal government. They're nothing but greedy, putrid pussies. Freedom of speech went out with George W. Bush. Remeber that article on the woman who was forced to de plane after refusing to cover her t-shirt that had a picture of George Bush Sr. and Jr. listed as "dumb and dumber" on it? That's when freedom of speech was destroyed. I think that happend in Washington D.C. if I'm not mistaken.

Pal considering the circumstances, I'd rather not. Your currency is in the same boat as ours. I think we might ought to check our life boats cause were all in for some rocky seas. Between our allies turning on us, and Obama's bullshit. Our respective currencies will continue to fall rapidly. We pay more in fuel taxes than you guys do over there in the U.K. that's for sure. Our fuel taxes are damn near 1/2 of what we pay at the pump. Right now here in VA, it's about $3.62 a gallon. CA just broke the $4.50 a gallon mark and it makes me sick. Plus us shipping goods via the rail roads is the only thing that keeps our gasoline lower here in the states. If it wasn't for that, some states and towns would indeed starve and gasoline would be 2 times higher than it is now.

That's bullshit.

Oil companies do not need valid reasons to raise prices.

The barrel is at 106.40$ atm, and we are paying 1.42$/L

Last time we paid that much, the barrel was 150$.

The oil industry doesn't make sense. I live in a country that has the third or fourth biggest reserve in the world, and we don't use any of it in the middle to easter part, it's all imported here, so we're at the mercy of greedy *******s.

Oh and my provincial gov made a law to set a base price, but none for maximum price, the rest is history.

You mean bullshit concerning the oil companies right? I watched a man on tv during George W. Bush's last term go to jail for not marking up to the minimum price which was .09 cents per gallon. According to what I saw yesterday oil closed at $112.00 bucks a barrel. It dropped in price but we're not seeing it at the pump. I'm about to get raped a little later today when I go and get gasoline for my truck and lawn equipment. I'll let you guys know what we're paying today later on. That's basicly the same goddamn law we have here in the states, which is bullshit imo. God forbid they see how it affects the economy in the form of traveling, groceries, and shipping supplies to companies that make a living by producing products that help us live our lives.
