yep. Lincoln was going to send them back to there own country from which we stole them from, but John Wilkes Booth changed that. Before he died, Booth did say he regretted shooting Lincoln after he found he was not welcomed back into the south while he was on the run.

Oh you aint hi-jacking nothing. That was one of Obama's so called "promises" which he has not kept. What we should've done was unleash an Atomic bomb over afganistan after the 9/11 attacks. I would've finished it no sooner than it started. But instead we pussy foot around and more of our people get killed. They haven't learned yet either. Didn't we show Bin Laden how to use weapons we supplied him to fight the russians back in the early 90's? Their own people sold them for slaves.

Africa has diffrent tribes and still do today and they captured an enemies people/tribe and sell them for slavery or kill them off.....THIS STILL HAPPENS TODAY

The Africans sold their captured enemies to Europeans, Asians, etc AND even to their own people.

WHAT PEOPLE DON'T KNOW IS....THERE WAS BLACK SLAVE OWNERS HERE IN AMERICA TOO DURING THE CIVIL WAR.

its all about being politically correct, blah, blah, blah. FDR had the balls to do something about it when the japs attacked pearl harbor. Same thing should have been done on 9/11. Shot first and ask questions later. I would have said, *so and so* you have 24 hrs to evacuate *said spot* 24hrs and 1 sec, nuke would have been sent. Following day, *so and so* do this shit again and there will be no warning. This also goes to the rest of ya'll.

USA - Need a set of balls...? I have an extra pair in my toolbox.

It really doesn't matter because we were not there. Yeah they were sold as slaves and some slave master's stole another master's slaves. The North also ahd some slaves too. It doesn't matter now.

You god damn right the U.S. needs some balls. They also need to learn how to mind their own damn business too. The U.S. is worse than a bunch of old women that do nothing but gossip all damn day.

The US was responsible for the reason why Japan attacked.

Plus, you can't just nuke a country.

The US got away with it back then because no one really had nukes.

BUT today nearly every country has it and some we don't know and don't think will never have nukes can have nukes.

You push that whole button, then the whole world will push theirs too.

we need independant parties to actually have a say in debates and a fighting chance of holding office. It doesn't matter who the President is, as they will just do whatever their party wants, and that never works out well. Its a damn shame we really only have 2 choices to pick from during the election; A Republican or Democrat, no one else stands a chance.

And a lot of times, the "Republicans" are actually what are called Neo-Cons or fake conservatives. I am a Constitutional Conservative, and do NOT call myself a Republican. We need to make it LESS about parties, and more about what is good for the nation, and it's people. What is RIGHT, is personal liberty, rights (personal and property) and a strong national defense. As well as personal accountability, and responsibility. I fear that has gone away in this society today.

While I don't agree with pure Constitutionalism, you make a valid point that our two parties are often mislabeled as being a radical "liberal" or "conservative" when they really aren't all that radical. What people don't realize is all the other independant candidates that take place all over the political spectrum; so you really can find someone who best suits your views. We also unfortunately have the pure "party voters" where someone will just vote all Republican/Democrat across the board without knowing all the candidates.

I research the people I vote for THOROUGHLY. I believe that the right to vote is HUGE. There are places around the world, where people put their lives on the line so they CAN have voter freedom.

Matt, can I ask what it is about Constitutionalism that bothers you?

My question is how much dirt are we going to see aired this coming election? And how much of that is going to be B.S. and how much is going to be true? God only knows what we'll see. Glenn Beck and Bill Oreilly are going to ahve a feild day when it starts.

I am actually NOT a fan of the mudslinging. I HATE it when politicians mudsling. Don't tell me what the OTHER guy did in his past, tell me what YOU are going to do for us NOW. Yes, it is important to be INFORMED, but it is VERY important to tell the people who are voting for you, exactly what your plans are for the nation...

You are absolutely right, and I know a lot of people only know what the media tells them about; which is very unfortunate. Some times I think people forget how awesome this country is, even if you don't agree with the current politics; because as you said, there are other places out there where you can't speak freely or vote.

I'd rather not divulge into specifics and whatnot to keep any animosity from coming up, but I just think a pure Constitutionalist view cannot properly fit an ever-changing, modern society. However, I will agree that the Constitution should always be the first thing considered in new policies and laws, as it is what makes America, America.
