^I hear ya man. I know he has to still have some life in him, because all this liberal bs going on in the white house is making him roll over in his grave.

Agreed.

You can bet that Moammar would be quaking in his kufi if Reagan came back to life. Reagan drops one bomb on his house and we don't hear a peep from him for over 20 something years.

Then, the coward Obama comes into office, and all of the sudden, boom. He is active again.

Ronald Reagan didn't fool around that's for sure. But I was a kid when he first went into office. I was 5 years old and it took 4 years to fix Carter's bullshittin mistakes. I remember people lined up outside the employment offices looking for work. He did what Britain did recently, CUT TAXES FOR EVERYONE. And their economy started to turn around virtually overnight. Fox news has been saying we need REAGANOMICS to fix this problem. My biggest fear is that we might be too far gone to fix it.

Yeah, I was like a year old when he was elected, so I really didn't learn much about his presidency until much later in my life.

Like I had said earlier. CUT taxes, CUT spending, people will have more money to put into the economy, thus improving it.

So, here are a few of my views.

I do not identify with any political party, other than I would never vote on a democrat ticket, because I believe liberals are whacked out of their freaking minds, all the want to do is tax tax tax, and regulate regulate regulate. Even some Republicans (Neo-Cons a.k.a the FAKE conservatives). I am a CONSERVATIVE and a CONSTITUTIONALIST. I believe that many politicians pervert the Constitution, and believe that it is a living document, which is meant to be manipulated and changed, like it is play-do. Its not. I personally do not want to see Trump run, because you can't run a country like you run a business. A great business man he is, but a politician? No. He would take votes away from worthwhile, and more experienced candidates.

Obama, and our current administration is destroying this country. His doctrine is CLEARLY, "Undermine our allies, embolden the enemy, and diminish the United States of America." He is supporting many of these Islamist militants. He is supporting the rebels in Libya, many of who have times to Al-Queada, and many of whom have ties to former detainees, or are former detainees themselves at Gitmo. He is taking us down a dangerous path there.

ALSO, our financial situation. I do blame EVERYONE in the government for this, for allowing this to go on. It isn't JUST Obama (although many of his program/ideas have and ARE failing, i.e. the Stimulus, Cash for Clunkers, Obamacare, etc.) But my main complaint, is that whenever things don't go the way the Liberals want it to go, they either run from the state (Wisconsin democrats fleeing to Illinois to avoid the Union bill), or they threaten a Gov't shutdown. Its the old "take their ball and go home" thing that little kids do. Now, this isn't EVERY liberal, but it is MOST of them. (Notice I said LIBERAL not Democrats..and the only time I said Democrats is referring to the bill in Wisconsin.)

My solution, is to vote Obama out of office in 2012, get BOTH Houses back to CONSERVATIVE control, repeal Obamacare, CUT spending, CUT taxes (or abolish taxes altogether, and get with the Fair Tax)
That would be awesome if I can get that book. I believe in a person's right to work hard, and get rewarded for their hard work and get back what they put in. It seems only fair to me. God forbid we get someone who looks after the people that voted them into office in the first place. That's been missing for a long, long time.

Its a GREAT book. Its LONG, but really good.

Amen, brother.

I agree. You work hard, you are rewarded for your hard work. I don't believe in taxing people who make more money, a higher percentage of tax, while freeloaders aren't taxed at all. Its just not right....The Preamble says, "PROMOTE the general welfare". No PROVIDE for the general welfare....People forget that. Our government is developing a welfare, nanny state. Abe Lincoln once said, "Our nation shall never fall to a foreign power. If she is to die, it will be by suicide." Well, our nation due to the current and many past administrations has been suicidal for a long time...It needs to END

Basicly at 5 years old going on 6, I didn't really care at that age. But little bits and pieces of what I saw when I was a kid is about all I remember really. I miss 1996 really. We paid .85 cents for a gallon of gasoline, my smoking habbit was around $15.00 bucks for a carton of marlboros, everyone had a job and we had a surplus of everything known to man at that time. Now that same carton of smokes is $45.00 bucks here, gasoline is about to hit $3.60 a gallon here. There's a huge amount of cutbacks and record levels of unemployment. Bankrupted states left and right and people like Bernie Maddoff are also lurking about feeding off people's hard earned money. And the U.S. Dollar is also losing value more, more each day because it isn't backed by anything. Thanks Nixon you idiot for closing the gold standard back in 1971 which backed the U.S. Dollar for those who didn't know. And the U.S. Treasurey didn't help in that situation either. France called our bluff and started to deplete our gold reserves, and Nixon said I'm closing the gold standard which put the U.S. Dollar in decline.

flat tax 3% across the board and no refund. everyone pays the same % but the more you make the more you pay that is true but if you make $20K a year and pay 3% it would be the same portion of your income as if you make $100 a year and pay 3%.
