The military isn't that bad, its the politicians that screw everything up... Try to get a job (MOS) that you like... BTW they are going to give us back pay when they pull their heads out, so it's not all that bad. I really feel for those that have families and mortgages. I'm single, so I don't really have that many bills...

If it shuts down, it's not going to be long. A couple of days to maybe a week at the most. What will happen is that the Dems will blame the Republicans, even though if Obama would have just passed Boehners military pay bill, that would have given them another week before another shut down threat.

Time off with out pay will suck, as I am trying to buy a house at the moment. Hope they have a plan soon!

Uh, i was being serious?

And i mean honestly a lot of people have it harder then people with goverment jobs as it is. Maybe it will be a nice taste of the other side of things for some of them.

A lot of people will take offense to that and im sorry. But it wont last forever, a few days without pay isnt going to kill anyone. I think people sometimes take for granted what they have, this will be a wake up call.
