Default Auto Zone, O'Reilly's, or other?

I was wondering where everyone chooses to shop. I have Auto Zone AND O'Reilly's within a hop, skip, and a jump from my house.

Does one have better prices than the other? Better product selection? Knowledgeable staff? What do you guys think?

I use Advance Auto because I can shop online, put in a hefty online discount code and then go pick it up in-store. I usually save $25-$35 an order doing this.

I choose to trade with my local AutoZone for the simple fact that when I walk in the store they know my name and I know theirs.
As for Napa, I used to haul auto parts from long beach, ca to napa stores and mom and pop joints. Yep they were fresh off they Chinese boat. The brake rotors and drums were just thick enough to be legal, could not be turned.
They all use the same suppliers, so one is no better than the other in my opinion. Just who your more comfortable with.

I use Autozone for most parts. I buy oil from advance auto cause its such a great deal. Autozone, around here, basically have a no questions asked policy on return/warranty items. With advance, I find its like pulling teeth to get a warranty item replaced. Besides, Auto zone has the $20 purchase gets you a point, 5 points you get $20. But I also like advance cause I can buy online with paypal and pick up instore.

Infact, My alternator went out on my truck. Ihad bought it from autozone, went to return it, but it wasnt in the computer for some reason. I talked to the manager, and after he looked at all the shit I had bought from there, since like 1998 ahaha. He decided to just warranty it out and gave me a new one. That would have never happend at advanced! I use NAPA for hard to find parts, like the camber bushings for TTB, they stock. And automotive thread bolts.

I get most of my mechanical stuff from Napa since it's only a few blocks away and it's the only auto parts store in town. Advance Auto is the next closest and that's in the next town over (18 miles) I've gotten most of my accessory stuff from there.

I use NAPA for all my auto parts since it's only about 6 miles away, but I use O'Riley's to get oil, filters and all my cleaning stuff. Only reason for that is because the NAPA I go to doesn't have a very good selection.

I go to O'Reily's if I'm at school but I'll go to Autozone sometimes too just because there's a bit different selection

When I'm at home I go to Autozone because we don't have anything else

I bought oil yesterday and Autozone actually wanted double what it was at O'Reily's, I thought that was a bit ridiculous

Recently I have had a lot of bad luck with Oreilly's, but that I could just chalk it up to the store. I have found an autozone that is pretty helpful and I like their rewards program. I have recently been shopping around quite a bit because there are tons of shops within a stone's throw.
