I really like the white trim. I think that trend is going to hit soon. Nice vibrant colors with big white trim.

Not to hi-jack your thread or anything, but maybe youd consider doing something like this, 1x8 pine board atop the room for the stuffed animals...youll probably collect alot like my daughter did! also, those stuffed animal hammoks work well to.

if you do do it, make sure to mount the brackets on the top, this way they cant be seen. Stacey got in a big yank and the first board we put up with brackets on the bottom, it looked TERRIBLE! hahahaha. But on top, the animals cover them, so its all good. We just used regular shelf brackets, btw

Looks really good, man! Did you cope the inside corners of the trim, or did you just do a 45 on them? I couldn't tell from the pics, lol.

And the laminate fake wood flooring stuff is durable as hell and pretty cheap (some places like Home Depot or Lowe's charge like $.89/sq. ft.) and really easy to lay down. I helped my dad put it in his house in less than a day, and made him do most of it and he isn't much of a DIY guy as far as construction stuff goes, lol.

BTW, Coors light FTW!

thanks. no i didnt cope the corners, just a plain old 45. they came out pretty good for a rookie carpenter and not very straight walls. lol i really do like that laminate flooring, i plan on having that in the kitchen when i re-do that but id like to have carpet in the bedrooms and ceramic tile in the bathrooms.
also, i have to thank my dad and my brother in law for the advise and tools to do this, i dont have many of the tools needed for home repair. i borrowed my dad's paslode impulse finish nailer, that thing is bad ass!
