A dip in the road probably did't get you enough air to cause damage upon returning to earth.

just an FYI, my truck weighs 4400lbs with me in it.

Jumping a stock vehicle isnt actually a problem. Sure you might break something... but the really scary part is when you break something which causes you to lose control and you flip it over and either hurt yourself and your passenger, or kill your self or your passenger.

I jumped mine a few times when it was stock. Just hittin big whoops on some trails at speed, not because I wanted to see how high I could go. Didn't hurt a thing.

But then again I bought my quad for jumping so I probably wouldn't do it again.

I'm sure your truck is just fine.
what are quads like for jumping? i like my crf but shes always bottoming out and i always wanted a racing quad so i was thinking of selling the CRF for a yfz or a TRX or somethin

haha.... I jumped mine before... I'd actually do it again, it's old pavement, but still smooth, and you hit it at about 50MPH and just float a little maybe 8" to 12" off the ground, and the landing is so smooth you don't even know you left the earth. haha
I hit that about 12 times and we were out of gas so we left. hahaha
I like my truck clean now though so I wouldn't do it just because it get's douched like crazy back there in dust.

I'm a fairly new rider so I get scared. What I didn't post is the pics of my landing on my front tires because I get scared and let off the throttle at the top of the dune.

the best thing is to start off at a slower speed and then give it some throttle when your front tires leave the ground so the back tires can spin around and lift the front up more, if that makes any sense

I go with the "pin it to win it" method when I'm jumping quads...lol.

Now that I got my bike, I'm scared to even try and jump it yet.
