Recently bought a 87 Ranger 4x4/2.9/5-spd. I live in a Emission testing county and would like to get this truck for my youngest boy up and running. I have been able to get the bolt-ons (IAC,EGR,O2 sensors) but still have one problem. The tube that directs gas from the drivers side exhaust manifold to the EGR valve has split.... I call it the EGR tube??? Ford has discontinued it and dealers say they stay away from that kind of stuff, so I get no ideas as to what I can do to repair/replace this tube. Web searching abilities seem to be limited and lead back to the basic bolt-on items. I would appreciate any like stories with any possible solutions

Try a legitimate Ford dealer. The parts guys can do a search of dealers across the country. If the OE part is available anywhere, that should locate it.
