Anyone have any thoughts on this car?

Insuring another vehicle will raise your rates by 25%-35%......I hope you were aware of that.
21% at a "buy here pay here" lot is pretty normal......with excellent credit a normal used car rate is 4%-8%. Since so many buyers at these lots eventually have their cars reposessed, that is the reason for high interest rates. Some lots around here sell the same vehicles a dozen times!!!!!!!!

Insurance was going to cost about $250 a month on top of what I pay now for my Ranger. I refuse to pay about $14K in a 2 year span (car payments, and insurance) for a 2002 Focus. Its not worth that much to me

250 a month!!! How bad is your driving record? Or did you buy everything on the policy?

Thats for full coverage. About after a month after having my license I had a minor fender bender with my Ranger, ending up in a ticket and 2 points.

How old are you? When I first got my zx3, I was 19 and my insurance was 315 a month for full coverage. When I turned 25 it dropped to 80. Right now I pay 140/mo for my car (full) and truck (liability).

I've been rear-ended twice. Both times they hit my tow hitch. Damage to their cars, and I just wiped the paint off..haha

TOW HITCH!

I am in my mid 40s and never had a blemish on my DL at any time. On a new 2009 Ranger Xcab XLT with just about max limits on everything, I was paying $525 every 6 months. Then a dump truck threw a stone that chipped the window....well the standard disclaimer on the back of the truck prevented State Farm from collecting my comprehensive claim back. Cheaper just to pay for it, so my ins co paid for a new windshield.
Then 6 months later a drunk mexican motherfucker with no DL, Reg, or insurance t bones my truck with F250 reg cab...Ranger totalled. Of course my insurance company had to buy me a new truck since it had less than 5000 miles on it. Of course the mexican tried to run and some witnesses apprehended him and he needed some broken bones repaired at the emergency room....free of charge at taxpayer expense.
Needless to say, I now pay $710 a month for the same coverages on the replacement 2010.
Nothing my fault and I get wacked. The mexican sob was in county jail for 7 days and then deported and I am paying.
Insurance companies suck!

Stick is easy to learn. I had no experience of how to drive one but I had the know-how which helped a little. I learned how to drive one though in no time. I've never stalled, but I'm not the greatest at taking off. I always end up a little shaky when I take off.
