Default My conversation with Bru (4evermodding)

Now I'm sure everyone will look at this and think its going to be about bashing, more insults and all the drama in the world...but it isnt. There comes a point in time where some things are better explained and understood when you can speak to another in a real conversation other than misreading or misinterpretating typed words like on these forums.

I had a phone conversation with Bru (4evermodding) today. Yes, He and I had issues in this forum, and it came to a point where the invitations were extended to man up and speak to each other in a real conversation. Bru extended his invitation with his phone number and I took him up on it. We spoke about what was going on, and speaking in a REAL conversation gave us both the opportunity to understand each other on what was meant without any chance of misunderstanding this time. I can admit, Things he said previously were in fact misunderstood and taken out of context by me and it turned into a mess.

By speaking in a verbal conversation with Bru, we both came to understand each other alot better and things that have happened are put behind us. I can be the first to admit when I am wrong, I have no problem doing that so I can honestly say I misunderstood things and it got out of hand from there. Bru and I even spoke of similarities we share from what we do for a living to our rangers and when speaking of things like that and carrying on a real conversation we can both see where each of us are coming from and our outlooks on certain things.

I want to thank Bru for extending the invitation, and appreciate the conversation. Such things like those past incidents can spin out of control and progress into worse things but this is a great example of how a real conversation can work out issues that can be misinterpreted by typed words and it also allows us to be better members, and gain the respect of each other.

Also, a thanks to Patrick the Moderator, He educated me on this trick.

Sometimes it's better to actually speak to someone rather than try to express yourself in text.

While forums and texting are great, nothing beats a phone or face to face conversation. Nothing can be misunderstood then like it can be in text.

Glad you all worked it out.

Sorry folks! just got in from my 5 mile walk. (of course that was in the rain) lol, Anyways yes Clinton and I talked and as I have stated before, There is always the internet personality and there is always the true man behind the computer. People are real and at the end of the day, most of us just want to be heard and respected and treated like a decent human being.

Clinton is a stand up guy and I want all who see this thread, especially newbee's to understand that no-one should ever take things serious over the internet, It's better to become empowered by the power of positive thinking and to always ignore the negative and irrational side of the internet (social networking). If you ever find yourself in a situation that you cant seem to understand. I suggest contacting the individual through PM and arrange a time to discuss things.

Sometime talking privately may not be the best way and folks just want nothing to do with anyone, That's okay too, There is no wrong or right as we are merely narcissistic individuals who crave the attention and hide behind a shield of technology (computer). But if you are someone who wants to take it a step further, The possibilities for friendship outweighs anything else.

p.s Thanks Clinton and I look forward to many more conversations and appreciate the shared knowledge. Oh by the way, I need a OHC/CENTER CONSOLE/DUAL MIRROR/ AND SOME NEWER STYLE RANGER SEATS, LOL Kidding; but i do need those seats.

i got your back little brother, you can count on it.

I loved that. I totally agree. And yet I'm not perfect I do say and do things I regret but I'm only human and I learn from my mistakes.

Nothing can't beat just face to face conversations.

Over the phone you can lie. When a person is face to face with you, you can see how they act, what they do, etc.
