2002 Hyundai Sonata Problem
Hey guys, I have been enjoying My ranger for the past 2 mths so I haven't driven my Fiances car (my old sonata) in that period of time. Well I drove it for the 1st time this weekend, and the engine does a loud ticking noise when Idling up to approx 1500 RPM. It does it in Park, Drive, Reverse but not neutral. When I asked my Fiance how long its has been doing it, she says its been doing since I gave her the car and thought it was normal. Now the Idle fluctuates from 700 RPM up to 2,000 RPM at time, I changed both coil pack recently, the belts were done last year. I have feeling its lifters that are stuck, but I was wondering your opinions.
