community's have been fighting them pretty good as of late. the community will get wind that WBC is coming, and they'll have 100's of people there protesting against them far from the funerals so the family's dont have to deal with the WBC idiots

LOL@fordzilla80 as it will happen one of these days . A group of biker vets were talking about going to some protest and keeping them out of the line of site of everyone .

they do it frequently. a group of about 150 or so veteran bikers showed up at one of my fellow soldiers memorial service because there was word that these pieces of shit were going to be there. I stood in formation with a lump in my throat the entire memorial at the sight of these veterans surrounding the cemetery to protect the family and friends of a soldier they had never met. i wish i could have personally thanked every one of them.

i'm from topeka kansas where those god forsaken fuck tards are from. you guys have no idea how often they are around protesting in topeka. i live in a town about 10 miles away and they even came to our little town and protested in front of our school! those *******s piss me off so much. its pretty sad when you get people coming in from out of town saying "oh, this is a terrible city because fred phelps is from here". as much as it pisses me off that they do this stupid shit, they have every right to do it. i'm not siding with them, im siding with the constitution. even if they are doing it in front of a soldier that was fighting for their right to be able to protest like that. its still a whole fucked up situation, but like i said, they get every right to do it.

I don't fight unless I absolutley have to, but I just wish I could go a few rounds with these *******s. Heartless isn't even the word for them. They are a mochary of Christianity. I hope they die in epic ways. Thank god for the biker gang who scares them off from funerals. They are the true Christians and good people. I wish I knew a way to help these bikers cause. God bless those bikers.

If they need help , Hell , I'll be there .... I love their tactics , drown them out ... Saew this on the news last week and thought it was spectacular .

I had thought so too , but the supreme court made it a decision last week stating their right to free speech . Thus superceding any previous decisions .

the first amendment was originally written by our forefathers to protect the citizens from our government and give them the right to speak out against the government. its intent wasnt to let everyone say whatever they please to anyone. had our forefathers known that the 1st amendment would be used and exploited in such a vial manner as the WBC uses it for they would have worded it different im sure. obviously the supreme court disagrees but using my first amendment rights i disagree with them.

It is sad that they choose to protest the way they do. They do it for the reaction. No one would care/know who they were if they stayed home and said everything they believe. But because they protest the way they do, people talk.

It is completely disrespectful for them to do it, but they can do it.

Maybe it is time to get a bunch of people together and protest their church services. Stand and yell and scream and chant. We would have our 1st amendment rights to support us!!!

I have thought if they would ever come here for a funeral protest, I would rent a big U Haul and park it right in front of their protest. Make it so they can't be seen. And to really piss them off, hang a flag with a rainbow off the side facing them.
