Default Members family in need...

Hey guys... dont know if all of you know me or not but the names jeff. Over the past 48 hours my parents have had just about as rough as it gets. My dad just got laid off from his job.. one of their cars got repoed earlier last week and then yesterday morning while my mom was heading to work in their only vehicle left, she lost control and wrecked it. So im hoping someone can help me get some parts cheap to fix their truck. Its a 98 Chevy s-10. Just plain jane 2wd regular cab. They really need new bumpers.. both front and back.. and they need a valance.. not an absolute but i would like to get it completely fixed.. they need both front turn signals... ill post up some pics so you guys can see exactly what i have to deal with. Understand i live in cali and my parents still live in Montana so its not easy to stand by and watch all this happen to my parents. Im willing to buy the parts but dont have much due to just moving into a new place. Any help would be much appreciated and ill def try to return the favor. Thanks for everything guys....

Those old s10s are a dime a dozen, litterally. Worse case scenario, buy one with a blown engine/transmission for peanuts, take the front end and sell the rest to a junkard to get your money back.

I know i'm not going to make friends with this one, but..

Your dad got laid off, but he wasn't making payments on his loan while he was working (seizure is usually executed after 90 days of non-payment, unless you already are on a 2nd or 3rd chance plan), i wouldn't mention it when asking for help.

How do you wreck the front and back bumpers without scraping the sides anyways?

Well, I just happen to live in MT (too far to go and help out your old man, sorry. I would, but I gotta work on a side job tomorrow and start back at the regular job on Monday) and was perusing Craigslist. Here's a few links I found:

http://missoula.craigslist.org/pts/2238408425.html
http://missoula.craigslist.org/pts/2200333463.html

That's about the best I can do. No offense, but I'm not into the whole giving hand outs to people over the internet. I was out of work for a while too, so I know how it sucks, but I was also a little prepared (IE: Low debt to income ratio, hefty savings account, I'm a Jew, etc.). Sorry to hear that they lost their other rig, must have been a hefty monthly payment if they couldn't keep paying it.

thanks guys... i know it seems like a pretty desperate attempt to get parts... cause it is but i really dont know what else i could do to help them out... i mean they can go buy parts from a junkyard just the same as i could. Im only doing this to try to save a little money. And this isnt my parents asking for help. This is me asking for help. I straight up own my truck and have no debt once so ever. My parents have put themselves in this position but its family and ill do just about whatever i can to help them. Im not asking for pity... im asking for parts.
