So I was trying to get my internet price down, after being on the phone for a couple hours being transferd here and there, I finally got online to get it done. Just had to throw something funny at the lady!

x2, but what you do, they got you bent over a barrell. I cant complain to much tho, I only have limited basic cable for $17 but since I have a cable card I get the expanded basic, parts of the digital starter, and about 7 channels from digital preferred. So im getting over on them.

good, im glad youre getting one over on them the greedy bastards. i had a huge list of issues with them in the 3 years we had it from the shitty install (wire hung too low over the road and gut cut by a dump truck, they tried to charge me) to there constantly raising prices. the last month we had them our bill went up $60! we started out with the triple play bundle and in the end just had the internet and phone but i got sick of getting dicked around so i told them to eat one and cancelled everything. i do miss there internet though, its hard to beat cable internet but the direct TV we have for TV now is 1000 times better than the comcast cable TV.

yeah the only reason we have it is for internet. hell for the longest time i was using my nextel as a modem to get online. 19kbps. slower than dial up! HA!

But, for internet, we dont have any other option. internet thru a dish is way to high when we checked into.

yeah we looked into that too, i also looked into DSL as well but even that is expensive for what you get. I just tether my computer to my droid now. its not as fast as comcast but its way faster then DSL and plus i figured i was paying for the internet on my phone so i might as well make full use of it.

Wow! You had a nextel that could get online?!? Mine would take about 15 seconds to download a text message.

The satellite internet isn't what its cracked up to be either.

Could I tell you some stories of ComCast / ATT or who ever they call themselves today . Bad cable , Couldn't fix my email address , TV was the only thing that worked , half the time . We have FIOS and I love it .... 35 up and down ( not guaranteed ) but daytime I get 35 meg as I work form home sometimes . Nights are more like 15 to 20 but it is ok . Don't need a 35 meg constant ...
