ive only met one dog where the stare down didnt work , even if i dont own the dog it works very well...

and the dog was a punk anyway but he was beautiful!

haha no worries it just felt like maybe u didnt see that i am deaf and use sign haha ive never used sign on my dogs cuz i can talk lol oso knows spanish and english commands (for the same thing) i personally think its really cool haha

LOL I learned not to use the stare down on dogs I didn't know because I worked as a rescue catcher at a shelter and man some dogs take it the WAY wrong way. I know from bad experience! Just looking a dog in the eye that's already prone to attacking is not always the best idea.

my gfs dads dog (have 3 i only play w 2 since he doesnt like me for whatever reason) thats not very well trained but is very smart often barks when we leave and when we come back we say no and stare him down hell go behind his house and as soon as were outta sight , hell start barking and well come back into sight and hell go behind his house w.o us saying anything lol

By the way, as an update: I spent most the night sitting up with her coaxing her to eat and drink, gave her the second dose of meds around 7am and some chicken and rice, and now, at noon, she is up, eating, drinking, and playing again. She's still a little weak, but appears to be recovering just fine! Very Happy Camper I am!
