Srs talk, try eating more meals a day, small meals. If you can't eat meals, try snacking on things at work, like an apple, or banana. It will help your metabolism get faster, thus you burning off calories and fat. Good luck.

In the next couple months I'll be looking at gyms. And If I get the apartment I'm looking at, there is a gym available to me, along with a pool. Plus once spring comes I'll be doing a lot of work to my YJ to get it legal, which means a lot of working out, lol. I've been eating smaller meals, I don't eat fast food like I used to, and I've been eating healthier snacks between meals.

Nice home setup. But is that all you bench?

I hit the gym 4-5 times a week. In my opinion, there is no substitute for going to an ACTUAL gym. To me, its much more motivating to go and be in that type of environment. You will meet people trying to reach similar goals. You can get advice, spots, exc. You can also learn new workout routines by talking to people and also simply by watching what they do. You'd be amazed by what you can learn by just watching people workout.

Personally, I like to lift each muscle group one time a week. But when I do lift each muscle group, I work it out hard because I know i'm going to have 6 days to recover. I try to change my routine up once every 5-6 weeks...whether it be lifting heavy weight with lower sets and reps/lifting light weight with higher sets and reps...or just changing types of lifts in general. If I were you, i'd start with small weight and do a good amount of sets and reps. Helps burn fat and will make you cut.

Diet has been mentioned already. Overall pretty good advice. People think cutting meals out in general, and only eating once or twice a day is a good thing to losing weight. Definitely wrong. That will only slow your metabolism down. 5 or even 6 smaller meals is the way to go...as long as they are healthy.

I didn't read anything about how important drinking water is. It will help you stay energized and it will help you lose weight. I drink at least a gallon of water a day, and on top of that 1-2 gatorades. I hardly ever drink soda. If i'm craving something other then water or gatorade I drink lemonade.

Overall, i'm in pretty good shape. Along with me working out 7 hours or so a week, my full time job entitles manual labor all day long. I load and unload tractor trailers full of furniture 40+ hours a week. Last summer I dropped 20 lbs. I didn't want to drop that weight, but I still did LOL.

One thing i'm terrible at is drinking booze. I drink heavy usually once a week with my friends. And also drink lighter a few other nights a week. But if you work out hard enough, you can burn it off.
