Thumbs down Wintertime RANT!

Ok so i have my brand new Ranger for about 2 Months.

Its snowed like 4 times since i've owned her, and i absolutley love the 4x4, and how well this lil beaut does in the white stuff.

HOWEVER: (rant)

I hate what my town uses around here to get traction. My town uses stone chips, yes god damn stone chips. everytime i clean my truck i find more and more scratches and nicks, and it pisses me off. i feel the town should have to fix my brand new truck with all kinds of nicks in it. I mean i just paid 22K for my sport and its allready fcked up.

This is 2011, isn't there a better way than stone chips!!??!!

anywho, do any of you have a solution to prevent this, and my next question is, is there any bedliner type shit thats kinda glossy, id like to do my rockers and stuff, as im sick of pulling my hair out everytime it snows.

you can talk to ur officials in ur town but all they are gonna do is say "sorry its the price u pay to live in a snowy area" chip guard is nice and its kinda glossy. also bout the stones 3M has a thing they put on soltices to keep the chips off and its clear worth looking into IMHO

o trust me i kno all about it. in the summer i live on a back road and its gravel and when i bring the camaro out i always get stuck behind a dump truck or tractor and i have to drop way back to not get pellted by rocks. i'v gone threw like 5 windshields already in 2 yrs at $212 a piece is bad lol.

also por-15 is something to look into.
