Default Does anyone else drive, just to be driving?

I found myself just driving around today. Almost and hour and a half of going no where, but every where. I didn't have anywhere I HAD to go, but ever since I got this Ranger I can't wait to get in it and drive. I've always loved to drive (long road trips etc), but I have to say, until this Ranger, I've never just decided to hop in and go for a drive to no where! I can't believe it took me so long to finally find a vehicle that fit me so well and was this fun to drive.

Does anyone else ever find themselves driving around like this because they just enjoy the comfort and ride of their Rangers?

im with ya, its nice to just go cruise somewhere or nowhere, go explore and take your mind off things, it can be very therapeutic.

I understand the therapeutic part and getting your mind off things...USED to be the reason I would take trips, but today it was just because I actually LOVE driving the ranger!

Back when gas was under $2.00 a gallon I would drive around for the sake driving but not anymore. Stupid gas prices. Lol

No doubt! I know it's going to start costing me a fortune, but you're right I was actually scouting out cool scenic areas along the way. (Actually found myself looking for cool spots to take pictures of my Ranger against a nice outdoor background! LOL)

I love driving my Ranger. But right now I'm having camber issues. And bald tires. So untill this weekend I won't be doing a lot of driving. I do love driving my truck though. I'v had her for 5 years. September of this year will be 6 years. I'v only put 54,000 miles on her. I bought her at 160,000 miles. It sits at 214,000 miles. Just changed the oil on her and shes ready to go. I don't know I just feel free when I'm In my truck driving. NO worries.

I love to drive, travel.. my two houses are 700 miles apart.. but at least once a month I'll just hop in and go to who knows where, just to be driving...

I'm always doing that! I love driving my truck, I just came back from a joyride a couple hours ago. Sometime I it bugs me that I'm wasting so much gas but I still do it anyways.

I tend to do it when I'm stressed and I sure could use it right now. It gets rid of my stress. I turn on the radio and roll down the windows and just relax. Really does help.

do it all the time in the T/A. Usually I look forward to my 30 minute commute to school in the morning, and on the way home its even better.
