Okay, as much as i love my ranger there are a few faults. The winter and snow driving is a hassle since i got rwd(possible, but a hassle), and wen i wanna go out i need my friends to pick me up since i cant fit more than 1 other person.

Therefore, i am going to invest in a second vehicle and use my ranger as my toy/personal work/burnout machine purely to modify and hav a good ole time.

I was looking at a 5.8 Bronco or the diesel excursion, leaning towards the bronco though. Any valuable information on the bronco or the excursion(what year is the best, known problems, etc)? And yes i realize both of my choices are gas guzzlers, i dont mind =)

Any thoughts or ideas or suggestions? any specific year or type of vehicle i should look into? What vehicle would/do you have as another form of transportation?

One advantage of the Explorer Sport is a lot of the vehicle is the same as the Ranger. There wouldn't much of a learning curve for you then.

I know some folks that have both the gas and the diesel Excursion and they actually like their trucks . A lot of gas / diesel tho . They tow travel trailers .

if your going to get an excursion make sure its deisel.. a gas excursion gets like 10 mpg tops.. and bronco dosent do much better then that around 15mpg i would get an explorer or explorer sport

Yep, you get the nice 4.0 and 5 spd thats in the Ranger too. They look pretty good too and are around 11" shorter than a normal explorer, so it isnt overly big.
