Okay so my dad has a 1996 chevy work van with a 350 and like 220000 miles. Today I was leaving for work, and I walk outside and I hear a loud repetitive clicking. I assumed it was the garage door acting up or something so I walk over there to check it out, and the sound is coming from my dads van, I get closer and its the starter clicking over and over. No one is in it, the keys arent in it, and im creeped out. It wasnt clicking when I was outside about an hour ago. So I go get the keys and when I turn the key on, it stops, when I try to crank it, it just clicks. I turn the key off and the clicking continues. At this point im laughing at how dumb this is. So I disconnect the battery and go on my way. Anyone heard of this happening before? Im not really looking for help, just wanted to share my story.
