the new ford fiesta
what do you guys think?
i have read a few reviews and comparison that say it is just as good as the yaris/versa/fit and it achieves the best fuel economy of them ALL..
im hoping this car sells well for ford and it could help pull them out of slow sales..
it is a design that is largely inspired by the euro model fiesta and will be available in sedan and hatchback..
im not sure but fuel economy is like 50 mpg plus (combined)

Its a great car. Ford gave away 100 across the coountry last year as advertisement of it coming and the drivers have missions in their everyday lives ith it. I saw one here and it is sweet for a small car. It will really get sales from the younger crowds. Compact, good mpg, lots of room, lots of extra features, and word of a possible turbo performance upgrade from ford! This car is not only compared to the other small cars but consider it the tC of Ford. Lots of options!
Not to mention the car competed in the xgames and it beat both the lancer and the Subaru. Sure it had a 300 hp engine but the first year running and the first year the car ever did any kind of racing it dominated the companies that have been in rally racing for years! It took first against the subaru and i think 3rd over a lancer.
The Fiesta is gold for Ford!

The Fiesta has been around for a long time in Europe. In fact, I had the privilege of driving one in Ireland in '03, and dang was it nice! It was just a basic rental car, but still had great get up, good fuel economy, and handled worlds better that the Focus. I have been praying that Ford would bring this to the US, and they finally did.
BTW, The Fiesta has been used in World Rally competition for a long time too.

the sedan
the hatch

i like the sedan more but thats just cause im not really a hatch guy
but i think the hatch will be some good competition for the honda fit, versa hatchback and yaris hatch

thanks for the pics Jay!
i seem to being prefering the fiesta sedan to the hatch though,
i think its goota a lot of potenetial to be a fun and small car to boot around in
plus, ive heard its fuel economy if slightly better than the fit, yaris and versa!!
