Well took my test today and I passed. Was nervous but I took rivers ed and I did good. The Rangers been a small project til I can drive and I can finally put it on the road soon. Can't wait to cruise around in it.

CONGRATS, took mine back in June. I was crazy nervous. Parallel parking in the ol' Astro van was pretty ugly, but the road part went flawlessly. Getting your license is a big step in life. Just remember to drive sensible, don't do anything stupid, and it's not just your driving you need to be careful of, It's some of the others on the road to

My test was stupid easy... no wonder why most people in FLA can't drive...

I had to park in some cones, back out, drive down a residential street, back up for bout 5 sec, do a 3 point turn and then stop at a stop sign.

It took bout 5 min.

Although I was driving a Camry... super easy to drive considering that I learned to drive in my dad's Chevy crew cab 2500hd which turns like a dump truck.

I had to drive out of the DMV parking lot, stop at a stop light, make a right turn, then go 500 feet and make a left turn into the Tax collector's parkin lot, and make a three point turn. After that, I had to drive back. And that was it. I was like wtf? I passed, but they got me for not using my turn signals during the three point turn. Who the hell even does that? I swear I never saw it in the book. Everybody I know has gotten points off for the same thing.

Congrats though man! I agree with everyone else, drive safe man, and always be sure to watch out for everybody else too. It takes two seconds for someone else to take their eyes off the road and for their car to drift into your lane.

in NC its the exact same test. about 5 min of driving. except on mine he made me hit the breaks hard going about 35.
