Default post your snow removal equipment!

like the title says, post what you use for snow removal dutys! past, present and what you'd like to own in the future.

past:

first one that i remember also left the biggest impression on me, our old '66 dodge D500 powerwagon. after setting on a mountian for 20 years it fired right up with a jump start, and was always ready to work. in the winter we'd plow ourselves off the mountian before the township came around, in the summer we used it to grade our property and move some boulders about the size of toyota's off of our property. but had to sell it for some quick cash

after the powerwagon we had a '49 jeep willys pickup... that was neat but it was a worn out old turd. sold it when someone stopped and made a good offer on it. no pics...

then it was some smaller stuff. first was my jacobson cheif 800 tractor with a giant snow blower for the front. eventually blew the rear up...

got this little bugger from my grandparents, old toro power handle snow blower, but it was way too small to really do anything...

present:

right now i've been using this town dump find, a late 50's "Snow Bird", aka the snow beast thing works GREAT

and sometimes my buddie will come over with his old bullnose F350 and plow me out, when it A) has gas in the tank and B) hasin't recently cought on fire seems every time he hooks a plow on that truck it almost burns to the ground, haha

Future: i found this setting behind a shop up near my grandmothers in the adarondacks, SOMEDAY i wanna own this truck!

Your Turn!

actually its a great truck untill you hook a plow on it, than for some reasion it always catches on fire. last year it fried all the wiring twice, this year it blew a power stering line and sprayed power steering fluid right on the exaust manifold.

i've gotten used to jumping out in the middle of the road and throwing snow under the hood of his truck, lol although the truck's had a much better winter this year than last year. i know his dad's ran it out to the wally world DC out there in tobyhana a few times without incident
