Never seen anything like it, wouldn't use it personally. Could change a flat, thats about it.

Safety personnel use these in certain accidents, etc. The towing industry has been using them for years to get flipped over semi trailers back on their wheels. The bags are a special woven and sealed fabric that is designed just for this application. I'd trust these more than a little jack on the ground with wood blocks under it. They're guaranteed not to bust.

ARB makes one that is rated for 8800lbs and lifts almost 3 feet.

It seems cool and a good idea, but I wouldn't trust it. Using a floor jack then blocking your truck up is the safest way (IMO) to go.

They are great for emergency. They all have a one way valve that keeps it from deflating.

I know a lot of us probably don't mind getting dirty if we need to change a tire. But I can see this being a use for someone who has no idea how a jack works, a lot safer for them.

I could see using it in conjunction with jack stands, which is what you're supposed to do with a proper jack anyway.

I can see the advantage to this being that it's lightweight and probably very small when not in use.

I could also see it being useful when you need to jack and the truck isn't on a solid surface
