11" pf snow!!!!!!!!!!!!
for alabama that is INSANE!!!!!!! Every road is shut down in numerous counties.. you cant even find the road in front of our house and i gotta go feed my dog tomrrow! Guess i'll be testing out the truck... do me a favor and pray i dont get my ass off the road and get stuck in the field! lol Quite embarassing! But were gonna have so much fun in it! This is the most i have ever seen in my 28 years and my dad says its the most since he got out of high school in 60 something. Its a mess but a fun one!! Pics will come tomrrow!

I know you guys dont get snow a lot. So investing in snow removal equipment by the counties and city would be a waste. However dont they have construction equipment they could use? It is the South after all everyone drives a pickup right? Or is that just a stereotype?

We have snow plows and sanders, but for what we just got it is beyond what they normally do. So it takes much longer to clear the roads out. The last time we saw snow like this was in the 80's.

The hell..
We have been expecting snow for the last 3 days, and barely got any. It's not fair. This winter is so weird, you guys are getting huge storms and nada here.

Dont worry too much about driving in the snow. I did for the first time just about a week ago and it isn't too scary. The snow isn't the hard stuff to drive on, the ice is.
Just be smart and don't try to have fun and you'll be fine.

We got 2.5 inches in middle ga which is nothing because we got 6-7.5 inches last march.
