Default Energy Drink Substitute
Alright so my mom, step dad and grandparents just got diagnosed with diabetes so Im kinda freaked out about also gettting it.. So Im looking for an alternative for energy drinks.. Coffee is good but to much of it gives me a stomach ache... What do you guys use to get that energy/caffine fix? I perfer a drink rather than pills and what not. I could just got put back on graves so I have to have something that keeps me awake...

Most low carb energy drinks have 0 sugar and only like 10 calories.

im hooked on monster right now... both my parents are diabetics too. Mom takes insulin. Im eventually lol gonna start drinking the sugar free ones..i know ive seen them.

If you want caffeine but don't like the drink options caffeine pills are a decent substitute IMHO.

If you want high caffeine tea you could always just get tea... mix in caffeine... and bingo. Caffeine powder is really cheap.

Good thread. I have had two heart surgeries. So I also need to lay off this stuff. ( Monster, Redbull, and liquid ice). But I stay up late and it sucks when I'm working from 1-9, because about 4:00 I am about to pass out.
