lol rattles go with the truck hehehehe all the interior body panels rattle. So your truck has rattles when it idles and when it drives over bumps . Oh wait you have trouble going over bumps cause of your tranny cant get in gear as well (i am pulling your chain nothing personal) - that was a 4L chain tensioner joke by the way.

You're a few days late, I figured out the actual issue. Some ******* either took out and never reinstalled, or Ford never installed the bolt that holds the TCC solenoid in. That bolt is the primary retraint mechanism that holds the solenoid in place. Because that bolt was gone, the solenoid could move around a little, and that caused my O/D Off light issue from awhile back. Well, when I went through that mudhole, the force of the impact into the hole knocked the TCC solenoid out of it's bore, which broke the secondary restraint mechanism, which is a little tab on a bracket. The way the tab bent, it kept the TCC solenoid out of it's bore, and fucked everything up. I ordered the new bracket from Ford, but it wouldn't be in for three days. So I pushed the solenoid back into it's bore, and haven't had a problem with the truck since last Monday. The new bracket arrived Thursday, but now I'm trying to find a junkyard that has an automatic Explorer or Ranger that I can pull that missing bolt from. But yea, for now, the Ranger is back to normal.

I would say that you need to get more powarh!!!!!!!!!! from your 3.slow. I really dont get people who buy a Chevy aveo, Hyundai accent, toyota yaris and get it auto. its sluggish as hell and isnt as good on fuel plus more expensive to buy. beats the purpose of getting an eco car.

Automatics are a very parasitic load, that's for sure.

it be like having a 3 ton tessie in your passenger seat. Affects performance, affect fuel economy, and one these days it explodes just when you pass a Macdonalds and didnt stop

Hopefully somebody buys at least some of it so I can use that money towards the new motor. I'd rather see somebody use the parts, but if not, to the scrap yard they go.
What's that?

This would be a 300 I6. It's a motor built by Ford from the 60's until 1996. Was one of Ford's toughest motors, unless you run water for coolant. Then, you really piss it off.

WOW! Did not know that! Well, I wouldn't need any of those parts and if I did never would know how to put it together lol. So on that note, good luck selling the parts. If I was you, I would definitely take it to the jy or scrap yard. Get some money out of it.
