Nope, at least not on mine. Has a turn down right off the block so the filter sits vertical. Just have to reach up and twist it on/off.

Why the fuck am I still in Florida?
In other news, Gonna pick up a new bumper for the F100 tomorrow if it's still at the junkyard.

Sounds like its time for a move man. Or a nice road trip. Also quit buyin' shit for the F100 and fix the damn Ranger.

Agreed spark plugs are a massive bitch on the 4.0's. Good thing those don't get changed but once every few years.

Re: FRF Afterhours / BS Thread II
once every few years? how much do you drive? most people change them every 75,000 miles (Ford even say's 100,000) this isn't 1985 where plugs need changing every 24,000 miles.

I don't drive any more that any other person. However I do check the plugs every couple years out of habit and the old school mentality has been drilled into my head. And I have found the random brand new vehicle right off the lot could use a new set of plugs at their second oil change. I guess that is just me though.

I meant he was being ignorant, not you. Sorry for the unclear statement, I agree with what you said, and personally, I don't see why some one would make a forum account just to post a thread about some people who want to buy his truck?

lol i can almost say that 60% of members here dont have an intro thread or their intro thread is this:
"Hi, I am so and so and I have a knocking coming from somewhere, Plz help me"
No engine, no year, no trim level info.
Then a few weeks later, they go "bump, no one can help me ?" funny how the person found out how to do smileys but not a signature or proper intro LMAO
