Ford Focus! Rented one when I was in Phoenix, GREAT gas mileage, nice acceleration, etc. Loved it tons.

Who told you that you can spin a turbo with a 4 cylinder? Highest hp Honda I have helped build to date has ~450 hp at the wheels with a d16 1.6 liter 4 cylinder turbo. You don't need a big engine to spin a turbine, you just need to match the turbine to what you have. It's like gears, 3.23's will net you awesome mileage, but they won't help you win a 1/4 mile drag race against the same vehicle set up with 4.11's.

You can get more out of it but, other than that you're right. The guy I helped out 5 years ago (may he rest in peace) spent way the hell up there in dough to get 1,500 to the wheels. But we didn't use a honda engine. Around 480 is all we got out of a D16 so we changed engines. That dude lived his dreams during his final days. He had Lung Cancer and died shortly after the project was completed.
