Yeah but not too long ago, polaris and bombardiers had the bad reps, even if they were fine.
Instead of buying a 7k$ quad from honda, this one is 1.5k. Even changing the engine 4 times makes the buy worth it. Since i don't plan to beat the shit out of it, i expect the repairs to be minimal.
The chinese have been in the mini bike and scooter business for years and they have been known to be very reliable, i'd expect the quads, if well maintained and not driven too hard, to have the same quality build.

yeah.. oh and the frame cracked right at the rear swing arm. I would get some pics but it caught fire not to long ago... and i swear im being 100% real with you guys... i wouldnt pay 50 bucks for one...

All i know is when you buy a brand name quad, you pay rediculously high prices, and their confidence in the product is so low, that they only give you a year of warranty.
In quebec, the gov says if you purchase for a product, you should get what you paid for, no matter what the manufacturer says, so 1 year can turn into a 7 years, and no one is exempt. If a store sells you a product from a company that has no offices in quebec, the store is going to be responsible to deal with the manufacturer after it has complied with the ruling's decision.
