Yeah i was with him and standing by him and stuff thats on camera but my hands never touched anything.

And im not telling thats how this whole thing came about if id have said he stole those boots and he stole the ipods they wouldnt have charged me. They couldnt prove that either of us stole the stuff out of whoever the kids vehicle is and he was getting mad so he just charged us both.

What pisses me off is that there was a third friend with us in the store and he got no charges. Them two are the ones who stole whatever all they stole, i just went to the store with them.

im fine with cops even though i shit my pants today i did a nice burnout that everyone said was huge wit all the smoke and a chevy tahoe got behind me and tailed me for 4miles and went everywhere i went to sheetez and he pulled beside it was a fucking doctor wtf!!!!

yeah but thats bull shit i didnt physically do anything...i didnt aid in the plan i didnt do anything at all how does that make me guilty cause i was browsing in the store and know the kid

This is the reason he can charge you, and its by association. You may have nothing to do with any of it, but you were there, clearly involved with the two idiots in question. Get a lawyer, come clean. It could get you out of all of it.

im just going to stick to our initial story cause my friend thinks it will save him, but really its screwing him over.

The story from his is this,

I bought the boots from this shady kid in ocean city and he said his mom bought them for him but they were too small but they were going home in the am before the store opened so he couldnt return them (tourist town). He sold em to me for 20 so it was a good deal i took it. When i opened the box the receit was in there so i returned them idk who the kid was but i didnt steal the boots bla bla bla. Hes dumb as fuck hes still guilty as can be. He asked me to back him up so heres what i said.

He was talking to some kid at 8th street, i didnt see the kid didnt think anything of it, i thought my friend knew him. Next thing i know he says oh dude look what i just bought off that kid and it was the surf booties. Next day he asked if i wanted to go to the surf shop with him so i did to look around and he returned the boots. Next thing i know the store is calling saying they were stolen and to bring his exchange back so he did and that was that.

trust me, my buddy is is DEPing in as we speak, Charged with 2 felony weapons charges. Got a lawyer and is being taken in the USMC.

I think you are being dumb if you don't come clean on your end man. Just get a lawyer and tell the truth. I've been in the legal system to long, lying got me no where, telling the truth got me out of almost everything, or at least reduced my sentence way down.

my record was as long as my.... well, you get the idea.

luckily in CA your record gets wiped clean once you turn 18. i've kept my nose clean since then, except for some traffic tickets.
