I was 150lbs in 6th grade... wtf dude?

I need to gain weight and build muscle. I'm scrawny as shit. Problem is, I have a really high metabolism. I eat like a fat kid, but I just burn it. If I wait til i'm 30, then I can get fat. Both of my parents were the same as I am now. My dad was 120 when he tried to join the army at 18. My mom was 110 when she graduated high school. But as they got older, the metabolism slowed and they gained weight.

ah what the hell I'll sign up too. I am 5'6" 258lbs. Was at 225 before my back injury. My heaviest since that time I was up to 275. I see my Doc. once a month and get weighed on there "doc. scales"

I'm in the same boat buddy but try being 6'6" and 175#s,at age 46,and 6'6" 145#s graduating highschool.(and to answer the question everyone always asks"did you play basketball?")nope I could barely walk and chew gum!
I've given up rying to gain weight and mass.LOL!I just remind anyone who asks,"yo know what they say about tall guys with big feet"

did my hour on the treadmill ( hills) was the program . glad I quit smoking 10 yrs ago.

I have lost 5 pounds, saw the doc couple days ao now he tells me i need to stop drinking WTF I say. had problems with lungs and heart so have to have more test. but still doing this weight loss deal

Today I had to do step aerobics in health class. That beat the crap out of me. I feel sore, but good.

it's good to see they are putting exercise back into the school curriculum .
when I was in school we had to do Physical Education and that meant climb a rope hanging from the ceiling of a 20' tall gym. and push ups and laps and basketball etc... all that good stuff .

I spoke with a nephew he said you can opt out from doing all that exercise stuff now at his school ( Wrong in my opinion to do that), again glad to see it in your school I think it helps kids get off the couch more

Physical Education is definitely disappearing from schools. I only had to take a year and a half of it in High School. The class i'm in now in college is a mandatory requirement for graduation. Catch is, we only exercise on Fridays. The rest of it is up to us.

and everybody wonders " how did we as Americans get so big" fast food and lack of PE in schools , no family homemade dinners etc... my guess
