Lol, thanks. It helps to be 44 years old. Some of those vehicles were great, others horrible. The Monza was a dressed-up Vega, complete with crappy cast iron head/aluminum block - a disasterous combination (leaky head gasket). The Cherokee I loved, but what a piece of crap. The quality of parts was horrendous (under warranty: new anti-lock brake system, intake and exhaust manifolds due to cracks, and eventually a new engine due to a rod knock). But it was great to drive. The Cavalier got 35mpg in 1987 and I drove that car everywhere through any snow. The Silverado rusted bad on me so I ditched it for the Ranger. I love the Ranger, but it clearly has issues that are going to end up costing me around $1500-2000. After that, it should be good to go for awhile.

ps - wasn't too thrilled about the $100 for spare keys programming, either...

1983 Ranger with the 2.3 and a 4 speed. Got it for free, fixed it, and traded it.

1987 Toyota 4Runner. Almost bought it from my parents, then they decided to trade it in on a 72 bronco, which they later traded for a Subaru which my sister now has.

1989 Geo Spectrum. Got it for free. Drove it twice. Lol.

1987 Jeep Wagoneer (XJ). That's what I traded my Ranger for. I had it for a little over a year. I wish I still had it.

1992 Ranger. I've had it for over two years now. Almost a year it's been broken down and not fixed, lol. Soon, though, she'll run again. I'll post up some of it in a second.

1995 Dodge Ram 1500. I miss this as well and wish I didn't trade it in, even though I've got a better truck now.

2005 Chevy Silverado. LOVE IT!

Pics of the Ranger:

And now my Chevy:

Why I have a full size:

Yeah. The bed on a Silverado is about 19-20 inches deep, while the Ranger is about 15-16.
