I've owned:
1995 Honda Accord DX: Most reliable POS ever. I loved that car. Traded it away.
1984 Nissan 200SX Turbo: Fun car. Did a Motorswap. Mom got fed up with me, and it. Parted and junked it.
1987 Nissan 200SX SE V6: Fast, 300ZX motor in the smaller 200SX. Showing off my new exhaust I spun TWO rod bearings. Rebuilding the motor, ran out of time, sold it to my friend. He crushed it.
1985 Nissan 200SX Base Auto: Slow, but still fun to throw around. Got hit by a Honda Odyssey, insurance totaled the car. Bought it back for $80, sold it to my freind for $100. Car is still driving around with a new powertrain.
1989 Nissan 240SX: Heap-o-shit. Got screwed with this one. Traded it for...
1986 Toyota Pickup 4WD Auto: Excellent truck. No matter how hard I tried I couldnt get it stuck. Mud past the bottom of the doors. Only problem was it was ungodly slow. Sold to my uncle.
1985 or 86 Nissan 200SX Base Coupe: Still being worked on. New powerplant + turbo. Got the car for free. Going to be a POS drift beater.
1989 Ford F150: This thing was beastly. 300I6 and 3spd + granny low. I could pull a house it seemed. Unknown electrical problem ultimately led to hydrolocking? and stripped the flywheel. Junked it.
2010 Ranger XL: New baby! I love this thing. 12k miles already. Rhinolined and stereo. More mods planned

EDIT: I'm only 20 haha

Short list

1st - 1986 Honda Accord DX...it was wheels and that's all I cared about. Traded it for the Duster.
2nd - 1994 Plymouth Duster which was the same as the Shadow. I had a lot of plans for that car that I never did. Traded it for the Ranger that started the Ford trend.
3rd - 1998 Ranger 4x4 Supercab 5 speed. Ended up trading it for my new one with 200k on it.

Owned with the 98' Ranger

1986 Mustang SVO - I kick myself everyday for not keeping and restoring this one. Bought it for $600 so it was pretty ragged out as you can imagine.
1991 Eagle Talon TSI AWD turbo. Bought it for $200 with the intention of trading it to my buddy for a mustang that needed a lot of work. Ended up selling it for $1000 and bought a...
1990 Ford Mustang GT from the back lot of CARMAX when I worked there that was in pretty good shape. Sold it to go to school.

Current - 2010 Ranger 4x4 Sport 5 speed supercab that I traded my 98 from above on
Current - 1992 Mustang 5.0 notchback
Near future - 1978/79' full size Bronco

Had a 1992 Ford F-150 XLT. 300 I6, Auto, Dual Tank 8 ft. bed. Loved that truck. Got handed down to my brother.

Then I got a 2001 Mustang Bullitt which I still drive. Wife has a 2006 Ford Escape. We're starting to look around for something larger with since our family is growing. I'm thinking Explorer or Expedition, though I'd really like a 4 door F-150 FX4.
