Default Driving your Ranger long distances

I'm thinking about a california trip, but I want to bring the ranger.

only things done to it is a 2" BL and some 31" tires..

`93 Ext Cab 5spd 3.0 Vulcan

other than remembering what my real speeds are, has anyone else drive their off road rig a long distance??

total miles for my trip will probably be 3800 miles..

suggestions?

Hows it run normally? If you trust it and it hasn't given you any problems I don't see any reason why you shouldn't. If its getting close to time for a oil change, normal maintenance etc. I would go ahead and do that before just so you know your fresh and ready to rock n roll. Have a good time and take us some pictures!!!

I drove my truck for 23 hours straight when i left from oklahoma to go back to pa. We left at 5:30am and we didnt stop driving till 3:45am the next morning. My girlfriend was following me in her ranger, and she said it was getting to the point that the back end of my truck was starting to look like a smiley face. The 2 taillights were the eyes, my 4' light bar was the mouth, and my white license plate was buck teeth

If I go on a long distance trip. I generally bring my toolbox with me. Make sure there is some zip ties. Duct Tape and electrical tape.

Plenty of fuses along with a little 2 gallon gas can.

I'm hoping to take mine from PA up through the northern part of the country then down through Cali then back out through the middle of the country.
