Sadly. I could deal with taking a 30 minute break but it's a weekend and everyone is trying to go home and you find a way to sit at the bathroom for 3 hours. I could sit for 10 minutes and get caught

On monday our welders asked me to sand blast two sections of pipe they had just finished putting elbows on, I take the pipe out to the blasting area and the compressor is gone (one of the largest construction companies in the valley only has 1 compressor that runs). We went to the company vp's rental house to install drains in the yard which was were the compressor went first, we brought it back Tuesday so I could sand blast Wednesday. I come in Wednesday and the compressor is gone again so i have start cleaning the pipe with a wire wheel on a drill, it takes 12 hours to get halfway through the anti rust coating on the pipes, at 2:45 Friday the compressor shows up at the yard. After getting everything setup I have about 15 minutes to blast and get the pipes back into the shop. I lost a day and a half getting our equipment yard cleaned up and reorganized because of what should have been a simple project.

here's the big mess in our yard I get to clean up.

I washed the truck yesterday in one of those manual car wash bays. Today I noticed a TON of new scratches on the truck. There must of been something on the brush that I didn't notice. I can't wait to get a house just so I can properly wash the truck.

Always spray the brush out with the high pressure wand first.

Most of the scratches are on the 2nd to last panel that I washed. I should just buy the waterless soap.

I got sent to the bosses rental property today to clean up the house and yard. They placed shit load of rock and brick around the yard and whoever lived in the house had a dog and smoked heavily so you can imagine what it smells like. We ended up working 4 hours removing rock and brick from the front because the boss wants to save it. This is taking place while we have 1 pipe casting machine waiting to be sand blasted, 1 one sitting on a trailer waiting for sand blasting and repair, along 1000 feet of concrete pipe forms the need to be cleaned, rolled, and welded we also have to repair 3 other pipe machines that have been rented by another company. I instead of getting to do our actual jobs we have to play house keeper every week. Why the hell should I care ive only got a few days left.

My co workers are fucking idiots m

Saturday night we were closing, and I walked into the dish room where two girls are prepping floor water in a bucket. I look at the bucket and notice a prep sticker on it, so I ask them where they got said bucket from, since I have a funny suspicion I already know.
One of them points at a stack of dirty buckets on the dish room floor. I've been breading chicken all day, and that's where I've been putting my empty buckets all night.
I tell them they can't use those buckets for floor water because they were used to store raw chicken, and they need to use a clean one. The first girl (Who was doing dishes) looks at me and says "I told her to use a dirty bucket because I don't want more dishes to wash".
A little irritated at this point (Mostly because I thought a little more highly of the second girl), I tell them "It's not like they were used to hold salad base. They've had raw chicken in them, those buckets are filled with salmonella. It's not exactly sanitary to clean floors out of them".
The first girl argues with me and says "So? We're not paid enough to give a fuck about that". I bitched at them until they were annoyed enough to dump the water out and get a clean bucket. When I left them started yelling "Bye manager!" and kept talking shit the whole night.

To be honest, if you're the type of person that doesn't see an issue with using raw chicken buckets to clean floors, I'm not too concerned with your opinion of me. lol. I'm debating reporting it to management. I'm not a snitch, but thats a health concern and the first girl doesn't need to be working there anymore (she got fired from Mcdonalds. lol).

I'd say you were in the right. A kitchen floor is dirty but shouldn't be "cleaned" with raw chicken water, and the other girl shoulda known better for sure. I don't get the whole "I don't get paid enough for this" crap... You get paid TO do this crap

yea. The other girl is new so she may not have known what the buckets were.
For me that's a safety issue. You shouldn't have to be paid anything to care about people's health.

maybe she should get a real job (no offense, I get this isn't permanent for you) instead of bitching about shitty pay..

Exactly. You work a no skills, no experience job. Stop bitching and be happy you make 7.75 an hour. Chick fil A only paid me 7.50. And if you keep that attitude you'll never make more. You wont get 8.50 an hour doing a 7.25 hour job.

Went into work and talked to the GM about it. She's been on the edge of being fired so hopefully something happens.
