No such thing as 'just a maintenance worker'. You keep shit nice so people can enjoy it. Valuable job any day of the week. And no, you shouldn't have to put up with shit like that.

Re: The Offical Vent Thread.
I strongly dislike the condition of the streets around here; potholes everywhere. And I dislike the way my ranger rides over them, slamming & jarring. What can I do to soften the ride without giving up cornering? (my truck corners pretty damned good for a pickup). I like to feel some of the road when I drive, but don't like feeling like I'm riding in a go-cart.

I appreciate that compliment. I just wish I could get things back to the way they should look but it takes a lot of time to repair all of the vandalism that takes place plus all the regular upkeep that we have to do, 4 guys, 27 restrooms, and 1000 acres of grounds with 148 camp sites.

Streets where I live are pretty messed-up also. Check tire pressure. I like a firmer ride, and my perfect pressure is 35 PSI. Shop I took my Ranger to for an oil change recently seemed to further add air to my tires since all were in the 36-37 PSI range. I let out a couple lbs. in each tire, and what a difference in ride quality.

Thanks for what you do. I am serious, people that take care of the stuff I enjoy get nothing but my respect. And there are usually too few cleaning up after too many self important jerks. I won't dump on them.

Re: The Offical Vent Thread.
Can someone please explain to me if you have an item you are able to sell at no loss WHAT so EVER to you, and your also in the business of selling related items.
Why would you refuse to sell them to a paying customer of those items, and possibly a lifetime of more buys.
The reason I received is because they are cheaper online. From the guy who sets the prices.
I respond your not willing to take what the market is at is what your trying to say. If I drive across town to pick them up how does that hurt you. You do not buy my gas. Your already there at work where the product is, and you have to be for the rest of the day.
So what your telling me is your a business that would rather refuse to sell a customer a product, as opposed sell it with-in the market value. Because your butt-hurt the internet came along and now people can check local market values.
I hope they enjoy sitting there not selling items to people willing to pay. While they pile up in there Hobbit hole. If they can not gouge your ass out on the price they do not wanna have to take the whole two minutes to deal with you to let you in, or pull the damm part themselves.
Just because I want some doo-dads and knobs today- does not mean I won't ever need a rear-end or motor...Just not from your company maybe wait for you to go under and go pick up a parts truck cheap while the bank auctions off your assets.

I think your talking about why a store won't match online prices. This is because stores have more overhead to pay for and could have a different deal with the manufacture and not get the items for the same price as their compediter.

Re: The Offical Vent Thread.
No guy has like 11 Rangers various years a few 06+on the yard. He puts out an add sellin parts. I try two times to get him to sell me some 06+ cosmetic stuff. He says he will not sell it because of the prices online. It is not like he is gaining anything buy not selling them to me for a fair price. I do not get how i try to put money in this mans hand and he will not take it... So he sits on all these parts he could be selling but won't.

Went to KMart. Guy in front of me had like 25 items yet was in the lane with a max of 12 items. There was already a line, I had three items and was planning to hit Wal-Mart before 11 pm for a return. Needless to say, I couldn't make my return afterwards.
