I can't figure why Husqvarna would bother trying to market a line of mcculloch saws, as they've gotten a reputation for being such garbage in the last decade or two . that and husky already sells homeowner grade saws at lowes, why not just sell them at sears too? being they have a much better reputation and all

Yes i am fully aware of that.
But sometimes it IS the exact same product, just in different packages.
For example, the Performance Accessories 3"Body Lift and the Summit Racing Brand 3"Body lift...same damn thing, different boxes. Hell my Summit kit even came with the Performance Accessories instructions!

The point is - Do you really know it's the exact same product though?

Appearance wise - yes.
Wording of the manual - yes.
Graphics used - yes.

But for example, do you know the makeup of the plastic used (100% random example)?

Not doubting in this case it probably IS the same - but at the end of the day a consumer doesn't really know if it's the absolute same.

Plus in this specific case - I'm fairly certain the Summit body lift should have came with these instructions (same font and other items as the PA - but it's branded Summit): http://static.summitracing.com/globa...m-7888300_.pdf

The saw actually says craftsman on the tag and mcculloch on the box. Craftsman 20 inch 46cc.

Basically we broke up because we were fighting a lot and it just wasn't working out. Nothing real major. I still care for her as a friend and would like to still be able to talk with her.
