I'm going to find out who made my schedule and I'm going to kick their ass. I thought I had made it very clear that this was "part time work so I could have a little extra money". Friday would be a little bit better if I got more than one measly 20 minute break.

Oh?

Maybe its a state level deal you're thinking of?

"Federal law does not require lunch or coffee breaks. However, when employers do offer short breaks (usually lasting about 5 to 20 minutes), federal law considers the breaks as compensable work hours that would be included in the sum of hours worked during the work week and considered in determining if overtime was worked."

"There are a number of employment practices which the FLSA(Fair Labor Standards Act) does not regulate. For example, the FLSA does not require:

(1) vacation, holiday, severance, or sick pay;
(2) meal or rest periods, holidays off, or vacations;
(3) premium pay for weekend or holiday work;
(4) pay raises or fringe benefits;
(5) a discharge notice, reason for discharge, or immediate payment of final wages to terminated employees; and
(6) pay stubs or "W-2"s.

The FLSA does not provide wage payment or collection procedures for an employee's usual or promised wages or for commissions in excess of those required by the FLSA. Also, the FLSA does not limit the number of hours in a day, or days in a week, an employee may be required or scheduled to work, including overtime hours, if the employee is at least 16 years old. However, some states do have laws covering some of these issues, such as meal or rest periods, or discharge notices.

The above matters, which are not covered by the FLSA, are generally for agreement between the employer and the employees or their authorized representatives."

"The FLSA does not require breaks or meal periods be given to workers. Some states may have requirements for breaks or meal periods. If you work in a state which does not require breaks or meal periods, these benefits are a matter of agreement between the employer and the employee (or the employee's representative)."

I know man, I had to tell them I was in high school and couldn't work 36 hours a week. But somebody got a brilliant idea to schedule me 9 1/2 hours on Friday. out of 80 employees They couldn't split that up. I specifically told them I couldn't work more than 25 hours per week to avoid more than 7 our days because I was routinely working eight+ hour days

I officially hate driving in big cities, traffic was so bad it took me an hour and 15 minutes to go 2.5 miles.

Can't stand idiots who drive with their brights on and tailgate you. I drove 25 in a 35 so that they would get off of me and I was reallllyyyy thinking about pulling over and getting behind them and letting them have a taste of my light bar

Did it to a Honda prelude in my f-100, when you get close enough to read F-O-R-D on your grill In his rear view mirror your just close enough to see him say oh shit this guy's pissed.

The best part about driving old trucks is the fact that you run virtually no risk of being brake checked, because they know what the outcome of A big metal truck ramming into the little car won't be worth it

On Tuesday I had a douche in a newer mustang riding my ass coming down a road that's so steep and the curves are so tight you can barely hit 35 on the straight aways. He was so close to my bumper I couldn't see his headlights. He tried to pass me on the straight aways but I sped up. Then I slowed to under 20mph on the turns. The passengers wouldn't even look at me as I waived good by when I turned off.
