Worry more about enjoying the time you dont HAVE to work!! Lol. I've always had a job, grew up on a farm, not that I didn't have a good time. Just wish I would have took more time to "smell the roses". My 14 year old can't wait to get a job and I keep telling him the same thing. Creates a great work ethic for when you are older, but it's time consuming. Good luck!
play hard, bog harder!

Oh I absolutely love not working, I just have no other good way to get money, my parents are too poor to really buy me stuff, and I hear ya about the farm, I lived on one by MT Saint Helen's in Wa, god I loved it, I miss the mountains and the farming, it was quiet and peaceful, and the hot chicks that lived down the hill from me, ooooh mama, lol. But we lost ours to the bank, we got foreclosed on and lost the farm, and in the same week my 17 yr old dog died (he had been born the same year as me and we bought him that same year) and my fuckin girl friend broke up with me, I was pissed, lol

Life goes on though! I've had many dogs, girls, trucks, everything come and go, yet life always moves on and there is another twist ahead. That's why a person can never take it for granted, never know when it might all be gone. Good job for not depending on your patents to pay for everything. I'm sure something will pop up that works with ya!

Re: The Offical Vent Thread.
So I have a work-study job at IUP. My boss has to approve my hours after I enter them into PASSHE ESS. So two weeks ago my boss took a half a day. Well She approved my hours late and now payroll won't give me a pay advance. So needless to say, I'm not getting payed this week. I don't think the $100 in my account will pay for gas for the next two weeks either

I'm enrolled in a 12 week welding class for a job at a government shipyard, I'm on week 9 and have 4 more tests to pass before I can start getting paid. Pay starts at 18.25 an hour and it pisses me off that we have to take this class on our time!!

So I know that I'm speaking for a majority of people, but were the fuck is my break huh? I work my ass off n pay my taxes so I can make it tell next paycheck, but we have all these worthless junkies living off of welfare they don't do shit with there lives but drugs but they collect there money off my taxes (our taxes)! I'm 24 yrs old and have work 2 jobs since I was 14 to help support my family! I can't go to college because I don't have enough money to pay for it ad I don't qualify for assistance cause I'm white and actually work for a living! I have fought since I was 17 to get assistance but can't because my parents won't help me n the government won't help! So again I ask we're in the fuck is my break?
