Come to Wisconsin. They've taken the exact opposite approach and is one of the only states with a balanced budget and a surplus.

I'm tired of my parents always blowing up on me for the littlest things.

Also USPS sucks ass, big time. It's been 5 days now since the poster I got on eBay shipped, and it's STILL in Michigan, the place it originally shipped from. It moved to another city, but that's it. I wish eBay sellers would use a carrier that didn't blow ass.

Its been a hell of a week. sunday morning 8:30 am after my vacation is just about over i get hit in a residential intersection in my grand prix. Uncontrolled intersection, no stop signs or yield signs. so now im down to just the ranger for both her and i just fuckin awesome. monday morning i deal with the insurance companys of the other guy who was at fault for the accident, police report pretty much says so. then head to work stop by my house for a quick lunch break and come to find my toilet has overflowed and is leaking all over the basement bathroom as well.

and now im working with this stupid farmers insurance adjuster who cant deem liability until she gets a copy of the police report that was filed monday on public record. i take 5 minutes and look the crap up on my phone and send it to her because thats all shes waiting on to continue with deeming liability. R U EFFING SERIOUS LADY. it took me 5 minutes on my cell phone to get the stuff im sure your computer at your office could have gotten it days ago to get this moving. We were so close to having the car paid off so that way we could get a bit more financially stable without car payments, but NOPE gotta have a guy hit me and probably put me into a longer car payment then i wanted. im seriously thinking about calling a lawyer this morning and getting his opinion.

Sorry to hear about your luck, and I hope that everything turns out O.K. Consulting a lawyer may not be a terrible thing because a lot of times a 'free' consultation may be helpful, however, if the police say in the report that the other driver was at fault and he/she has insurance, it may be a moot point because what possible outcome can occur since insurance is already going to pay the damages? Also, maybe you will be fortunate and be able to pay a substantial down payment for another vehicle with money from the insurance company.

I contacted a lawyer and he said to go thru my insurance and let them deal with the other company. I dont have rental coverage which I'm now kicking myself for. Right around 20 bucks a day for who knows how long to get my grand prix fixed so i found a little hoopty for a few hundred for a dd for me while she drives my ranger around. Little late 80s yota pickup 2wd 4speed 22r engine.

Hopefully things work out, and did the shop give you any amount of time for the Grand Prix and how bad is the damage? At least you have another vehicle for the wife, and it was probably wise to get a DD. Maybe you can have a winter beater or profit from the sale afterwards by flipping it? At least the Ranger wasn't hurt, but the hassle must still be a pain. I hate dealing with insurance companies and body shops.

Thats the first thing that came to mind is at least it wasnt the ranger. The other dd is the ranger for the other half. The grand prix hasnt even touched the shop yet because of the fiasco with insurance. They are coming to get it around 11 tomorrow.

That's crap. It hasn't gone to the shop yet? Talk about not getting you back on your feet quickly. Hopefully, once things get farther along in the process you will get the car back quickly and correctly.

Jesus Christ, it's a f**king TV, and we have 4 other working ones in the house. So I just say screw it, and hook up the cable box, so she can watch the precious TV, and do you know what I get? Not one single thank you.

Damn, for all I care, you can pay to have someone do all this shit, or do it yourself. Don't get mad at me because I'm doing you a favor!!!!

When I was a young man I felt the same way, Man my dad used to have me do some crazy shit and I always hated working with him on anything, and my Mother was no better, never a thank you for anything, could never do anything right in their eyes, But I would be glad to go thru it all again.... Man do I ever miss them!!

Was at the casino tonight and had a hot machine. Started to cool off and the woman next to me cashes out of her machine and just sits there and watches me lose waiting for me too run out so she can Get it. Not a big deal I understand. But it just seems rude. Like a damn vulture.
