so pissed at my dad....long story short my work started letting us keep the vans at home so i brought mine home and asked my mom to take me out so i can pick my truck up...she comes over and parks in my dads driveway and my dad just straight LOSES it...storms out of the house screaming at the top of his lungs get out of my driveway...and punches my moms van door and leaves a dent in it...so me fearing for her safety i throw all my weight into my dad and then grab his arms and push him back inside....then he wants to get physical with me because i try to stick up for my mom...all this because she parked in his driveway....i told him if he wouldve asked my mom nicely all this wouldnt have happened but my dad doesnt listen...he thinks hes all big and bad when hes really not...i said i may only be 21 years old but im not afraid to kick his ass

My parents divorced when I was 22, and my mom got "the house" because she lived in it prior to my parents getting married. Anyway, to call the divorce "uncooper-ative" or "uncivil" would be an understatement, and neither would dream to use the other's driveway. I am shocked that my younger sister (who lives in Florida) is permitted to use my Dad's car when she comes "home" once or twice a year and spends the night at my mom's. Also, I'd get my butt whooped if I pushed, shoved, or touched my Dad.

mine seperated back in hell..04-05 moved on with thier lives but didnt get a divorce till like 2010/11ish..was wierd but i supported it cuz my dad was an abusive ******* when they were together, they were more civil than expected though in the process.. i have wanted to put him in his place a few times, stand up for my mom n all but even in his 50s hed prolly lay me flat in 0.004 seconds..took after my moms scrawny family genes damn it .
.to the guy who originally posted bout this, glad u defended your mom,id do the same, even though ik he'd kick my ass id take the beatin so she didnt have too.And while i get not pointing a gun at ur dad i can say,if mine was to ever hurt my mom again like he did before..id put my 9mm S&W in his face in a heartbeat!..my one gratifying moment was seeing how his new wife pretty much metaphorically had his balls in a jar in her purse these days

They say that karma is a bitch, and luckily, my dad never put his hands on my mom or my sister and I. I can't believe that some "kids" get away with it. I know the poster said his Dad yelled and punched his ex's car leaving a dent. I wasn't there to see how close he got to his mom so maybe he advanced to do something but still. I am trying to imagine how "some out-of-control" individuals would really get "hot" if held back. That is why I said what I said because I then can't imagine the situation not worsening.

Cool thing and, "Yes", it would be hard to get along with someone who is so violent/hard to get along with.

TPMS can be nice sometimes, but mostly it's a pain in the ass.

I can't stand those fucking things, especially when customers are too fucking dumb to know that when it says tire low to put god damn air in to the damn tires, nooo they have to bring it into work and say their tire pressure light is on and the while system is bad...god i fucking hate people...ahh feels good to vent

Re: The Offical Vent Thread.
my F150 has TPMS...its not an excuse to check the TP on a regular basis...i would always get people at toyota that would ask what light that was and it was the low tire pressure

Re: The Offical Vent Thread.
Yes, I am not a fan of the TPMS either, but it has helped me in the past. My front driver's tire has been plugged twice, and all four of my tires are the original Continental Contitrac. I have 68,994 miles, and the tread on all four is at/or below 4/32nd's. Anyway, my wife drove my vehicle to work about six weeks ago, and didn't realize the TPM light came on. I found out because I knew I was having an issue with air pressure, and I got in the vehicle to get gas. Luckily, I had enough sense to check the pressure before I got in the vehicle and saw the light, so I knew I needed to add air. Then, I took the Ranger to the shop the next day, and that is when it got plugged again. I know that I need new tires before winter, but it depends on me getting a job. I won't need to spend the money if I'm not going anywhere.
